it was a great company to work for.The contract ended on the 21st of March 2019.i was able to obtain a qualification within the industry while I was still at Babcock.

Oppotunity to join TUV

Prior to my 13year welding experience i have obtained my level1 with(TWI-CSWIP),I have also done my level 2 and do not have any fund to recieve my ressults or make payment.I have also achieved my level 2 Radiography Interpreter.,

Pros: I know working at TUV will enhance my Inspection experience and i can grow with the company.
Cons: Working long hours i will gain experience and make a good name for the company.

I am good person and i like to work with different religious people I am the person that bring good efforts in the company by improving something in the company with good production I enjoy if the company growth

Learning curve

I repair mobile cranes,forklifts,trucks, clean the workshop,do services,dissasemble and assemble components,wash parts,order spares,do time sheets,vehicle inspections,inspections.spillage control, risk assessments.i relate well with my colleagues, I try learn their languages.what I find challenging is fault finding,fault codes and remedies....I enjoy getting the jobs done on time and no come backs

Very good sharing n learning

Its very good company do impliment health safety environmental good planning working procedure safety lens STOP THINK. REVIEW. ACT. Very nice to work with Babcock safety purpose work stoppage good team working.as brother keeper. We share our experience each other

I've learned a lot

Aĺl days are not the same like any other house and though i love working for this company , i want new challanges and self grouth. I have a good relationship with my co workers and we cope well with each other in the long hours that we work we get to teach one another new stuff everyday and that's how I've learned and got to become a welder.

Pros: The work here is good though it's not fulltime because we are working for labour brokers so no future is promissed
Cons: We wirk 12 hours each day depending on the business of that day

Excellence

I am a quilified boilermaker with 8 year's of working experience * 3 years as an Apprentice and 5 years as a quilified boilermaker ) I have a strong welding skills in argon, Co2, and arc welding. I am currently working for Babcock at Kusile power station on an ongoing contract but I am looking for a permanent or a fixed term contract job. I have my own transport and tool box. Thank you

Cons: I can work alone and take a lots of pressure

Growth opportunities are limited

It's been a great pleasure serving this organisation developing maintenance procedures and implementing them. Ensuring efficiency of the team by conducting daily meetings covering safety issues related to the task of the day, the team makes it easier because of the good working relationships. By motivating and being part of the team we achieve more and easily help each other even when it comes from junior members to the senior. Most of the equipment is very old some even obsolete which makes it difficult to source the parts and there are very little opportunities for training.

Pros: It's big organization
Cons: Smaller maintenance team (reduced over the years)

I am a hard worker, always want to learn more new things professionally and put extra effort in what I do, team work is what I always want to create in a working environment and achieve as a team
