Life at avbob

Avbob is a good company lot of opportunity to grow as long u willing to learn, and also get qualifications, is more in to policies and funerals. Is the greatest growing insurance company with many years now the field as it will be turning 100years next year. There's some resist am supervisor especially those who are more than 20years in the company

Pros: new way of doing things all the time, new stratergies
Cons: too manybold people qho dont wanna go pension that makes work load to be more n work unpaid extra hours

Admin

i was employed at KV driving school and Internet cafe no the 1 June 2017 working as admin clerk my duty was to make bookings for my client at the municipality,receiving payment,type cvs and send emails also helping my client to apply online.i am a hard work and i really love the job that i was doing there.My contract ended at january 2017, then i got a learnership at Avbob working as an admin clerk and attending the class of fais credit once in a month sponsered by Inseta

It's an excellent learning crave

I am currently working as an Administration clerk in AVBOB Life Potchefstroom, During this time spent I have worked for the company I have developed a wide range of skills and experience that meets all expectations for the role. I would be delighted to be considered for the position and I am sure of the fact that I am going to be an added success to the team! I have listed some of key skills and experience below • Reception • Client services • Handling switch board • Scanning documents • Typing • Telephone etiquette • General office duties • Operation of office machines ( fax, copier, printer, scanner and etc) I have also been given an opportunity to manger the office for 6 months without a full time District Manger.

Pros: Great learning experience, managing people and meeting different people day in and day out
Cons: Different personalities,moods of different people and long hours but small pay.

Customer focused

It is overloaded with work, excellent relationships with colleagues and made tons of friends. The most challenging aspect is always having a huge amount of work with a short turnaround and little co operation from facilities. I enjoy working with figures and always having work to do.

Remuneration Specialist

I have an analytical mindset and good numeracy skills. I was responsible for navigating through the company Remuneration Strategy and implemented significant changes. My skills were noticed by Senior Management and was moved to head the Talent and Acquisition section. I am well respected by employees in general.

Excellent learning curve

I scan more than 300 application form a day and our relationship with my co-workers is very good when it come from learning is to deal with different attitude of people every day but I enjoy my work because I learn more about people

Good opportunity in meeting lots of clients

It was a good learning curve working for a big insurence company such as Avbob, have learned a lot on how to motivate clients and telling theme the valid reasons for joining the funeral cover for them and their loved once.

Pros: If you work hard you will get a living wage
Cons: Working on weekends as well.

Typing, scanning, checking of business, answering phones, Good relationship with co-workers Learned a lot from insurance company I enjoy most when helping the clients Most challenging is helping a difficult clients
