I am currently looking for new opportunities and a completely different industry.
I am a loyal and hard working person. I love meeting different people and am eager to take on projects and learn more about the business. I can get along with anyone and I work well within a team and independently. Working within the customer service industry and allowed me the opportunity to learn a great deal of the copirate world. Shifts has always been a requirement and I have been working shifts since I finished school. I am a organized person and like planning and structuring my life. THis has become difficult in the industry I am currently in ans therefore I am looking for better prospects. I look forward to your response Mariam Davies

Every day is day one at Amazon
- A typical work day - assisting customers on the phone with refunds and logistic related issues. - Your relationship with co-workers - very close I am like the go to person when assistance is needed - What you have learnt - always to be yourself yet open yourself to challenges and to new tasks so that you can expand you knowledge gained over the years - What you enjoy most - making my customers happy, ensure that my daily duties are completed to the best of my ability and love learning new things - The most challenging aspects of the job - when I cannot resolve a customers concern raised immediate however I set an expectation and keep to it

Great Experience
Working at Amazon for the last 5 years have been great and I've learnt a lot from industry experienced professionals as well as contributing my own ideas, creating training material and conducting training besides managing a team of up to 20 associates. Contact mining and auditing is done on a weekly basis and extra coaching will be done where needed. I really enjoyed that feedback could be given to any operational level but working long hours for long periods of time without change can take a toll on you'd health, personal and professional life. I have pushed myself to my limits abd given it my all but a new challenge and change is always good as well.

Experience
-You assist customers from the start of shift to the end. -I enjoy spending time with my colleagues and helping them grow and better themselves. -The most challenging aspect is the barrier between agents and leadership, as well as escalating issues.
Pros: Medical aid and provident fund benefits.
Cons: Shifts. No performance bonuses. Minimal promotion opportunities.

Working at Amazon
Working at Amazon, requires one to meet their high standards of quality and efficient work, which is required when working for an international eCommerce company in the world of retail and technology
Pros: Opportunities for growth are adequately fair, but one needs to participate in a lot of initiatives and bring in ideas
Cons: Nightshift is almost compulsory as it's the busiest shift when working with different time zones

Excellent learning curve
kjndjkl;vedfbg bgbg bjknlk; kjlk l;j lkjkl ;jkl; jlkjl;lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllli have worked well as a shadow facilitator for a year and also shadowing office manager. I have attended a 10 days complete video editing workshop at the city of cape town library and complete basic computer skills programs. I volunteer at american corner cape town

Neat and tidy. Punctual, professional and ethical behavior. Ability to meet deadlines.
The work days consist of constant phone calls but the ability to deal with customer issues and solve them in a timely manner as well as satisfy the customer's needs. Relationships are built on mutual trust, respect and the ability to understand one another and communicate effectively. I have learnt to deal with high call volumes. To diffuse a volatile situation. Troubleshoot solutions to problems. The ability to see different issues in a work place and influence them to make the surrounding better not only for myself but other involved. The ability to solve problems outside of my specifications or dedicated area, although managing to solve the problems.

The growth opportunity in the company is very low, they have great benefits but not exactly where you need to be. I would like something more challenging and where you can grow as an individual

It was an excellent learning curve, it taught me a lot about the call centre environment.
Absolutely great compabto work for. I have gained a huge amount of experience and knowledge in the field of customer service. The salary was also nice. I was very happy working at Amazon. The medical aid was fantastic as well.
Pros: People are so friendly and management offered great support to staff.
Cons: 11 hour shift was very painful. Working Sunday's was not nice at all.
