My current job requires passion in working with different kinds of people from all over the world. And at times you are bond to have a language barrier with those whom can't speak English. But then again, we have those people whom help with translating. I have learnt that the world we leave in is way too big but yet to small for us all. Meaning, we leave in the same planet but yet we would always have different challenges. I enjoy meeting with new people on a daily basis because l learn new things all the time. The most challenging aspect is when you are facing a situation that is way out of your control.

Learning curve
1. Coming to work and all goes well as planned. Archiving stakeholder certisfaction, work well done and learning from others. 2. Partnership, team work, co-workers relationship. 3. Its okay to make mistakes even though I'm a perfectionist. 4. Seeing the final product of the project and sharing information. 5. Sometimes having people in your team who are not team players and not transparent.

It developed me to management, working with contractors managing contractors sla, dealing with stakeholders.working on big projects improving our equipment and systems performance,compile tender documents working with supply chain management.managing our assets create PM programs for reliability and availability of our equipment and compliance in terms of OHS, environmental and applicable standards

Looking for something permanent
I am a dedicated and hardworking individual, every day for me is ready to achieve something new. always strive to achieve and my goals meet my target and reach the deadline. Working under pressure motivates me, it gives me the strength to cope with life. I am a good team player as well as an excellent independent worker.

Great place to work, staff are friendly and competent. People take pride in their work
The company is a state owned entity falling under the Department of Transport, it has over 3500 employees. The company has as its major focus customer satisfaction. The management and staff are good at their job and there is a culture of pride in their work as well as a sense of mission in what they are doing.
Pros: Lovely working environment and the work is challenging and fulfilling

Good
I am a screener processing passengers to the aircraft. Equipment we using daily is X-ray machine and monitors. Relationship with co-work is very good because we all trained to be calm at work and polite because we working with a huge number of people. I have learnt a lot of things because it is my first job. I have gain a lot of experience being at airports. I am enjoying being at work. The most challenge at work is difficult passengers doesn’t want to comply with the rules of the airport.

Interesting but challenging
Work can be fun but at the same time sometimes challenging. Challenging because you are required to work within diversity, different personalities travel through an airport and need to be accommodated. My career has thought me to maintain strong relationships with co-workers as you may never know when you might need their assistance. The thing I enjoy most is interacting with people of different origin. The most challenging part of my job is when I need to provide responses to customers, a large sum of the information needs to come from stakeholders and I know that the response has no truth in it.

I am dedicated in everything I do and put an extra effort.
I coordinate all the reports and ensure that they are in order. I ensure that all the travels are done on time and training is captured. I have a good relationship with all my colleagues and stakeolders and I ensure that i resolve all conflicts ans and never take anything personally. I have learnt patience, proffessionalism, accuracy, team work, effeciency and effectiveness. I enjoy the conversations, advices and laughter. The most challenging aspect is to deal and understand different personalities, adjusting and to become sensitive to everyone's feelings and in that I have leaned to be accomodative and understaing.

Great opportunity for growth
Airports company provides a conducive working environment in terms of exposure. Management always enable junior working staff to attend committee meetings. We do not have office space for non-managerial staff hence the ambiance is more of a family orientated working environment. Everything is fast paced hence one is required to be on top of their game at all time.
Pros: Lots of exposure. one is given the opportunity to run with their own tasks.
Cons: lack of interconnection of division. silo mentality within division
