Excellent

The Company is excellent in Research and development. The colleagues and management offers training to all employees according to their career path and areas of responsibilities i enjoy dealing with customers. internally and externally as it gives me more pleasure and satisfaction seeing that their queries are resolved on time. The most challenging aspect of the job is seeing employees going for disciplinary procedures

Pros: Great opportunity for promotion and learning
Cons: hours are normal from 07h30-16h00, very manageable

The working environment is hectic. No salary perks or annual increases. Management does not engage with lower level staff. The company is looking for people to volunteer for early retrenchment

Pros: Great learning curve
Cons: No growth or promotion

Ample opportunities to further studies

working at the company has its own perks. like one could further their studies, collaborate with other divisions or even international companies or funders. However, when it comes to employee wellbeing or compensation it seems to fall short, especially since it uses the "cost to company" salary scheme. There are no bonuses or thirteenth cheque perks, technicians are under compensated when compared to those in support (admin, facilities)

Pros: Great opportunities for collaborative work
Cons: Minimal chances for promotions
