Excellent learning curve for a student
2014-learnership at department of agriculture in limpopo under crop production (vegetable production), 2017- did my experiential training with agricultural research council in grain crops production both field and laboratory experiments, 2018 to date im doing my internship with ARC-GCI in maize and sorghum production.
Pros: great opportunity for gaining experience
Cons: working hours are decent

Excellent learning curve
I am part of the Intellectual property management and Commercialisation unit, my duty is to coordinate all the commercialization activities within our 12 campuses. A typical day will involve assisting researchers with commercialisation related matters (funding, technology marketing, market analysis, drafting and reviewing contracts, going around the campuses presenting on intellectual property and commercialisation awareness and etc). I have an outstanding working relationship with my team and a researchers as well and have a lot on technology marketing, team playing, time conscious, project coordination, presentation skills, report writing and liaising with the stakeholders. I enjoy travelling, dealing with various technology projects and striking a good deal with the industry. The most challenging aspect is having to expose some of the unlicensed technologies and dealing with difficult clients and researchers.
Pros: Great opportunity for promotion and exposure, dealing with new/novel technologies and exposing them to the market.
Cons: Long working hours, timelines delay due to many parties involved and legal aspects

I've gained a lot in the company, the cotributed a lot in my work expertience and my studies.
I learner a lot at ARC-VOP, I've gained skills in agricultural knowledge and skill. I have the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team as well as independently. it was fun to work with my colloquies, working improving the company productivity.

Agricultural Advisory and Training in Small-Holder Agricultural Development
The ARC is currently conducting a training for extension practitioners on Climate Smart Agriculture in one of the most affected provinces in South Africa. This project is one of the foundation for the candidate to apply her theoretical knowledge in the the work place. By executing tasks for the project: 1.Drafting of proposal (printing of supporting documents) 2.Administrative tasks and support in the project (printing, filing, binding, management of supply of training materials, writing of reports) 3.Capturing of applications for Climate Smart Agriculture for 3 provinces 4.Arrangements for travel (vehicle booking, accommodation) 5.Co-ordinating Climate Smart Agriculture training in 3 provinces Eastern Cape, Limpopo & North West) in South Africa.
Pros: Sadly am on a contract
Cons: Long hours including working on weekends and alot of traveling

Willing to learn more about microorganisms.
I am proud of my current progress towards my educational career. I recently graduated from University of Venda with my honor’s degree. I have set high expectation for myself and refuse to accept failure as an option. I am currently working at agricultural research council. I've learned to prioritize and to multi task. I enjoy working with microorganisms. Challenging aspect of the job is shortage of consumables.

Good place to get experience across different scientific principal
I worked at the Institute for close to 3 years. I learned that the different departments involved in crop protection, crop information and crop management go beyond the lab itself. I learned to work with limited resources at times and produce and improve my work standards in the process. I believe I left a good impression with the workings I was fortunate to have worked with.

Excellent learning curve
I had a very good relationship with my co-workers, and I enjoyed my job because I got a very good mentor to teach me how everything was done from day one. I had challenges at the beginning as I was assisting strangers which were sometimes hard on me but got to know them to a personal level. They got to understand and require me to help always. I have learnt a lot, I got to know my passion in IT... Few things that I learnt are:- - Active Directory - Voip telephone systems and management - Email server - Printers - LAN and WAN - Working with switches - ...

Excellent environment to learn in different finance roles
The working environment is hectic. No salary perks or annual increases. Management does not engage with lower level staff. The company is looking for people to volunteer for early retrenchment
