VALUE LOGISTICS AS A WAREHOUSE

THE THING THAT I REALLY LIKE AND ENJOY IN THIS COMPANY IS, TO OFF LOAD THE STOCK, AND EACH AN EVERY WORKER HAVE TO PARTICIPATE TO THIS, NO ONE BUNK THE JOB. OUR RELATIONSHIP ARE VERY NICE BECAUSE WE ALWAYS SUPPORT AND RESPECT EACH OTHER. SO I LEARNT MANY THINGS TO MY WORK MATES AND TO THIS COMPANY, SUCH AS WORKING AS A TEAM, HARD WORKING, PUNCTUALITY, AND TO BE MY MOTIVATOR. BUT WHEN IT COMES TO LOAD STOCK TO TRUCKS, THIS IS VERY CHALLENGING, BECAUSE IT NEED MORE ENERGY.

Pros: GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO OVERTIME
Cons: LONG WORKING HOURS

Good experience

I enjoy working for Value. I have learned a lot within the Company.The reason I need to leave is there is no longer opportunities for growth in the department I am working for. I need challenges in future I also need growth. I have learned how to work in extreme pressure. I can also work without supervision

Pros: Excellent learning curve
Cons: No opportunities for promotions

Good worker

I am responsible for opening trucks take pictures and if we find damages I am the one who communicate with the in other to resolve the issue, communicate with clients via emails and telephonically, if a worker is late or sick they notify me, I make sure that we finish everything before knocking off. enjoy leaning something new every day because of our clients are more than 8.

No motivation to come to work as it is not a friendly environment

working on weekends when it's month end. It is really stressing as you actually use more money for transport instead of accumulating money. there is no recognition in what a person does having to adjust to changes that never work when it comes to management

Large logistics company

Large corpotate company but no benefits or growth for almost 4 years. Was a huge oppurtunity as it prooved that i can work at my best under pressure

Communication is the most important skill to resolve issue and getting payment done on due date.

8 - 5 day job. I enjoy working with my collages and I have leant so much and gained experience during the time. Good training was provided and I started as invoicing clerk then promoted to supervisor leasing with debtors closely. Gained experience on debtors side as well, handling queries, doing recons and phoning clients for queries to be resolved for payment.

Pros: No prommotion because department leaders dont want to release staff to other departments.
Cons: We do work long hours to finish month end deadlines

Excellent learning curve

as a big company things like qualifications should be considered, but here it does not count. There's no promotion I've worked for it more than three years from admin to fleet controller to invoicing but the salary is still the same

Pros: you learn every thing in logistics
Cons: salary not enough

Very hard worker and good at my job.

Maintenance of building, general maintenance. Have a license to drive a “Cherry Picker”. Upkeep of generators on all Value Logistics warehouses. I have a specialized PDP license.

Pros: A large company.
Cons: No skope for growth.

Prestigous learnering oportunity

Working for Value Logistics have been an honor and a great learning curve for me where everyone is willing to teach and groom you as a trainee and the infrastructure is good for one to grow and be exposed into the real world with your full time mentor by your side.

Pros: Good programe for one to learn and grow in it
Cons: Long working hours

It's was good because was paid you're salary

It was nice to work for that company but it not all becouse they don't care about workers and another thing they using more than five labour brokers, that is why they don't want to registing workers, they use them after that teminated them,

Pros: I expirence in logistics company but challenge were face with is sleeping on the truck especially when you are doing regional it needs to came back with in three day with an empty truck
Cons: Yes in logistics we was working long ahours
