I work in a Project / construction based environment, where I am responsible for executing Electrical Projects as mandated by stakeholders.My. key performance area is based on how well I executed project , i.e. within scope, time , costs and quality. Other responsibilities which are key to the success my project is resource allocation. including recruitment of Labour which is aligned to the project duration . I am excited about working with people especially from diverse background and I continue to learn to work with diverse background and learn from the project variances.

Great learning curve
On a normal day we conduct investigations and audits. We interact with many people through interviews and awareness's.We get to liaise with SAPS when opening cases. It is an an exceptional learning curve.

Versatile self-driven and focused individual skilled in administrative and finance knowledge. I am good communicator and approachable, I never say no to a challenge and I always make sure I overcome it. I am a team player and can also perform well independently. I can work in a fast pace environment, handle pressure and still meet deadlines. My aim is to join an organization where I will be able to utilize my skills and knowledge while adding positive value to the organization.

Very persistent and result orientated
I enjoy a competitive work environment as it keeps the spirit high and creativity at its peak. Solving problems and applying solutions is what fulfills me. I have for a long time been part of the electrical team were i had to lead and coordinate the job outputs of the electrician in achieving and ensuring safe and reliable supply of utilities

South African rail challenges
I arrive and start working at 07:30 and I immediately prepare for my production meeting that takes place at 10:00, so I create a pre-file for all the areas in the NatCor region, I do this by making phone call to all the individuals involved. I have a good working relationship with all my colleagues, I host the meeting so I’m required to create a safe working environment so that they can participate and give accurate information. The challenges I’ve come across in this line of work are a few and amongst others is that working with people of different races and cultures is challenging and no matter how much of a bad morning I’ve had I’m always required to be in my best behavior.
Pros: I was exposed to the South African rail and I learned about all the operational issues that our county is facing and also how to combat them.
Cons: I did routine work and felt abit stuck.

Excellent learning and exposure
Transnet is a big Company and i gained all the experience i need in 15 years i worked with them. Managing people, working with budget and arranging fleet for services was my main responsibilities . I had good working relationship with my co-workers and Management as a whole. The most challenging things was working at derailments and making sure that the line is safe for operation again.

Continuous improvements
-excell tools -minitab -ms PowerPoint -ms word -analysis I am mostly responsible for overcoming all the defects that are incurred within the company,i collection nor conduct time studies daily with the intention to reduce waste,dwell times and iddle times.i am responsible for analyzing data at my disposal ,thenceforth i work closely with the executive management and section managers.

Good learning curve, very stressful work environment with long working hours
The company offers a lot if opportunities to learn and they invest a lot in developing soft skills. The environment is very fast paced and the hours are long, which results in you being very stressed out most of the times. There aren't many opportunities to advance in the company as there are only very limited opportunities to get promoted

Exellent
I have enjoyed working with business manager on teams meeting and making sure that I deliver my tasks before deadlines,All tasks we tracked weekly and I was coping very well.I was part of the teams with planners and operations manager for setting daily targets and I was contributing much on times studies and business production lines,continuous improvement and creating more opportunities for efficiency.Process management and recommendations.

Excellent learning curve
They built a resilient and strong manager out of me. I have studied and completed my Programme for Management Development. I'm also currently busy with my GCC which I will be writing in June 2019
