Relationship Banking

It's a great company to work for and has great values for clients. I relate well with my Colleagues and subordinates but I mostly enjoy interacting and solutioning for clients needs. I have learnt that, without our clients and having in-depth knowledge of what's happening in their businesses, my business would not grow. Furthermore, people are a greatest resource which must be nurtured and respected as they are the front line to providing great service, if they are happy, our customers will be happy. I enjoy the fact that my position allows me to make decisions without relying to the Head Office and the most challenging aspect of my job is when you know the clients business so well but some decisions to Grant credit must be reffered to a Credit Manager who has no clue about the business or industry.

Cons: At times, extensive travelling

Good experience

Every day is extremely busy and on the go. Get on very well with team members and feels like home from home. I learnt and have experience in project management, which I obtained in my last three and a half years. I enjoy working with people and making sure that everything is done and up to date. No security in this position, as I am a contractor.

Pros: Experience in project manager and close to home.
Cons: Having a contract, does not guarantee your job.

Needing a new chellange

I have been with the Bank since 2013 and ive grown and learnt alot and for that i will forever be greatful to the bank. everything i know today is what they have taught me and i was always willing to learn new things and do courses through them which they have provided. reason why i wish to leave is because i need to grow and need to move on from my current position which i have matered over the years. i feel that i will truly be a great asset to your company and will run with your ways of working. i love working with people and i know i will work well with the team in your company. thank you for taking the time to go through me application and i hope to hear from you soon. Project Administration - FIT Security

Vibrant project administrator with 4 years working experience in various industries including but not limited to financial services, insurance, healthcare and banking. Currently contracted to Standard Bank as an administrator in IT Security involving cyber security, cloud computing and cryptographic initiatives. Rehearsed with Prince2 delivery methodologies and exposed to PMBOK. The bank has been delivering projects in an agile manner in the last 6 months broadening exposure to various delivery methods.

Growth

The reason the vacancy appeals to me is because I have extensive knowledge in financial administration of accounts, excellent communication skills, and good reporting standards accompanied by attention to detail. I have a National Diploma in Financial Accounting (Durban University of Technology: 2005) and I am embarking on a BCompt degree which I am doing via University of South Africa (Incomplete). I can work under pressure, unsupervised and able to effectively manage deadlines.

Corporate culture

Most of the employees are very friendly and helpful. They have a sense of togetherness. They are a family unit and do nice things for each other (I.e. babyshowers are greatly celebrated). Team building is a common thing, even if it's not a formal event. They encourage people to help each other, especially because we work in teams.

Pros: i get to know the different systems and procedure and should fulfil the need of the clients

Excellent learning curve

I am a goal driven young man who believes that anything is possible. I have a passion in business and working with people. I am well motivated by engaging to new challenges in my daily living. I am eager to learn and gaining experience in different kinds of roles even if it is not under my career interest. I am aiming to see myself as a successful businessman and a professional expert in a corporate world in the next 5 years. I am also intending to study further. As I am sourced with professional skills in Accounting, Bank Credit, Entrepreneurship and Sales, I believe I am equipped enough to conquer new challenges and avail opportunities as they come.

Excellent learning

I WAS WORKING SUNDAY TO SUNDAY FLEXIBLE HOURS,I LEARNED HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS, ALWAYS PUT A SMILE TO THE CUSTOMERS AND ASK IF THEY ARE SATISFIED.. I HAD A WONDERFUL TIME WITH MY CO-WORKERS IF SOMEONE DON'T UNDERSTAND WE HELP EACH OTHER WE SUPPORTED EACH OTHER INTO OUR WORK. I WAS ENJOY MY JOB BECAUSE ALWAYS I WAS MEETING NEW PEOPLE AND LEARN EVERYDAY.. THE ONLY CHALLENGE I HAD IS WHEN THE SYSTEM IS SLOW AND CUSTOMERS WAIT FOR SO LONG..
