Great place to work.
Working for old mutual gives you opportunity to study and personal development. The only problem there is, is the huge gap between secretaries on executive level and those that work for lower management. Executive secretaries have bigger salaries and get more benefits. They should relook at and get the balance right.
Pros: flexible hours
Cons: promotions don't come easy.

Learned to put client first
Working with people and working as a team helping each other and also being in a state of helping people (clients) at their best interest rendering intermediary advise making sure that they are happy at all times doing follow up has been a learning curve leading into having a good relationship with my clients.so that they may not look for anyone else but me to do business with. That has helped me in gainning more business by being referred by my clients to other clients.

Working as a temp
i have worked with old mutual as a temp for over 5 years now and these still no sign of improvement and i know that they do need my services and that i can go place if given the chance. i do not have pension nor medical aid and i do need to have such things.
Pros: its a well known company and it has been around for many years

Interpersonal ,and Intrapersonal learning carve
My most typical day at work is Tuesday because , that when most of the work is done, Tuesday is a busy day . In my current job environment I have learned many ways on how to used excel , Power point, and communication , eg verbal, emails, telephonically , non verbal, and personalities management. what I like about my job is its a flexible job, I work with people for people, I talk with different clients in deferent department , assisting them with their queries, I have a very good relationship with everybody I am work with, My Challenges would be lack of support, shortage of stationary and less growth.

Excellent commision structure and academic growth
a very vibrant environment , fun flexible but sometimes a bit tense and stressful due to lack of business in any given day. challenging at time but very rewarding in terms of experience and pay check if you meet all your required minimums.
Pros: great opportunity for self development as well great opportunity for growth.
Cons: clawback, if your clients dont keep up to their premium commitments then you get clawbacks.

I really this career start
I enjoyed working with people since i was selling Insurance. Old mutual is a very good company that have benefits. I've learn how to handle rejections, respect and working hard. I enjoy that working hard pays well.

Excellent
Outgoing and incoming mail Handling Registers and Couriers. Issuing Pension cards. Metrofile Archive Filling mannually and electronically Ordering stationary Address updates on systes as per clients request. Communicate with clients internationally via email,fax,correspondence.
