L MS Motete would like to declare that the info i submiting are true and honest

My gained experience working for my recent company is that I'm now more equipped in my field of work eg I'm now able to review the work files, check the drawings pertaining the job, I'm now able to read and interpreted the WPS, PQRs allocate the welder according to the Spec, request NDT's is MT, RT, UT and Deep pen, I am now able to allocate my subordinates according to the required work force, I am now able to take more ownership to cut cost for the company, I'm now ablebto chose consumables for the rite material, Effective communication amongst team members is always practiced , the challenge is when you get to a job that's not ready get you were told that it is ready, u fond paper work is not in place, so you won't be able to allocate a welder, and consumables, and also to be asked to request NDT for the job you dont know the job you have no clue about it, what I have learnt is selling the jobs to the client , working with the QC directly

Pros: it was a very good company one can work for it was a home to be, not now since we are now led by people who doesnt have a required skill and experience, that makes things difficult for some one who knows whats right and be deprived to use his knowledge, potential and show what he ot she is capable , even thought in other Department theres is some transformation and promotions promotions, but overall it is a good company provided it gets people in positions who deserves the positions, irrespective of color, gender, believes
Cons: there is some long working hours especially if theres badlock, people will be asked tp work late and things will be organized accordingly interms of food and transport, so yes there is some long working hours at times

Great learning curve

We have different cultures on site, people from all over the world working on one power station. I have learnt that people should work together regardless of where they come from to reach one common goal. My work is challenging because of the different duties that are assigned to me e.g assisting safety officers with investigations, dealing with the procurement department and our facilities department. Over the years I have become excellent in my administrative work, I can prioritise my work to meet deadlines. I prefer to work in a team because we can share our knowledge with each other. I am a self starter, currently I am not working under direct supervision, I have become disciplined and I know what is expected of me. I have worked in the corporate world for over 15 years and when I started in Construction it was amazing, there are so many different activities taking place in a day although I am not directly involved in the construction of the boilers but I have learnt a lot.

Pros: Great learning oppotunity
Cons: Long working hours

Pros and Cons of working as a Quality Systems Coordinator

I have the privilege of working with the whole company whether it is auditing them or assisting them in putting new processes in place or improving processes. When implementing new processes it is good practice to include the employees doing the actual job to ensure the process is working and not a hindrance to their job. Before starting a new project all system should be in place. I enjoy improving existing processes or implementing new ones, also to design in house software to improve productivity and make the tasks easier for the employees. I love the challenges that we face in this project and brainstorming to rectify the issues. I enjoy doing research in new technology and processes to assist with various tasks. Most challenging aspect of my job is getting managements buy in with regard to following the ISO 9001 standard they tend to reject new improvements as it cost money and they struggle to see the long term gain for the company through implementing the improvements

Pros: Good salary and other perks
Cons: Not many opportunities for promotion
