Complicated environment

Mintek has a homely environment but very terrible organization culture. To much uncertainty with career progression and advancement. No benefits at all, poor bonus incentive system

Hiding under scrutiny radar

Some of the key leadership positions are occupied by incompetent and morally and ethically compromised individuals. The HR and Finance departments are dysfunctional as policies get bypassed to suit wishes of certain individuals. Recruitment and Promotions are for friends and family members of certain inflential executives. Some core departments are led by an incompetent racist bully who does as he pleases and appears to be untouchable. Mintek is just one of many examples of failing SOEs led by black executives.

Excellent and reliable hardworking

I am a team player and an independent individual when it comes to managing tasks- I reach deadlines but with the work done satisfactorily so. I want to learn in all areas possible not limiting myself, as I believe in growth, development and also improving skills

GREAT JOB

MINTEK IS A GREAT PLACE TO WORK. I USUALLTY DEAL WITH ANALYSIS ON A DAILY BASIS. ME AND MY CO-WORKERS HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP AND WE BELIEVE IN TEAM WORK. I HAVE LEARNT ALMOST ALL POSSIBLE WAYS OF ANALYSING AND PREPARING SAMPLES. WHAT I ENJOY MOST IS THE ABILITY TO BE ACTIVE AND I ENJOY MY JOB. THE ONLY PROBLEM WILL BE THAT I GET TO DEAL WITH A LOT OF SAMPLES IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME

I am a hard working and easy to communicate with individual

I am doing preparation for training, organising material for training and protective clothes. Design and develop products for bead and ceramic. Trainer a group of people with ceramic. I am interested in a driving job advertised.

Pros: It more based on resarch and technology
Cons: Working normal hours just need a new challenge more growth

Experienced Seasoned professional with over 15 years mining industry experience

I am individual who is hard worker and i collaborate very well with others , my day start with planning the work of the day and reising the gaps so that we can prepare for the day . i have learnt a lot in my previous work as senior manager that a leader need to be proactive and tolerate long working hours.

Perfect learning curve for my profession

Learned more about: 1. hazardous chemical substances 2. Risk-based employee profiling 3. Perfect presentation skills 4. Chairing peer educator's meetings 5. Conducting Wellness events 6. Various biological monitoring, thresholds and limits Application of various ISO standards e.g. 14001, 18001 & 9001 Working environment is challenging as it places us on our tip toes, medical surveillance program implementation including its monitoring schedules are of the highest standards
