Dear Sir/Madam, I hereby wish to apply for Electrician position as advertised from “The Star” 26th October 2016. I am a fully certified, trained and experienced electrician who is able to meet strict deadlines without compromising on quality. And I am technically minded and have excellent problem solution skills and I am an expert at diagnosing electrical problems by studying Diagrams, Manuals, Specifications and using fault diagnostic equipment. My strong analytical abilities and problem solving skills make me an invaluable asset as an electrical Technician. I am currently employed by Eskom, My strongest attributes include identifying unsafe electrical situations, installing wiring systems. Furthermore, I easily manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm, and prioritise workloads with great attention to detail. Finally I must mention that I am keen to join a fast-growing dynamic and forward-thinking company like yours. I look forward to hearing from you,

Good foundation for the next big thing
I have no challenges with being female in a male dominated working environment. I earned the respect of my colleagues through hard work. Believing in max 30 min meetings sets an understanding that the production orientated culture through out the teams is important.
Pros: Site based offices.

I have learned a lot from this company
I deal with different kinds of customers especially the difficult one ,i always manage to work with them and i have received lots of compliments from my customers. I have learned to work we with a team..we having a good working team spirit.

My experience in an electrical power utility
It has been a pleasure more than not to work for Eskom. I have been exposed to a lot of Engineering and technical experience. I have grown professionally and personally.

High time to grow and tackle new challenges
I am highly deadline driven environment, where decisions have to made. I have passion in people development which has made my team one excellent team to work with. I really love to see people prospering or getting satisfaction at what they do. My job is highly dependent on other business process partners where you constantly have to engage and ensure everyone is on board and is able to fulfill the mandate. can be challenging at times if people aren't so clear of their role and urgency thereof.

Learning how to be a Quality Assessor
We worked well with my co-workers if we had issues they did not affect our customers and we always managed to resolve them. My communication has improved i have learned how to deal with difficult customers without fear. I enjoyed learning about new systems.

Cons: when we had a lot of users holding, it was difficult for the team to reach SLA

I completed full apprenticeship
I started working for Eskim as an apprentice, I then qualified and became an senior technical official, due to Eskom financial struggle they offered me a low package than what I'm supposed to earn, I work for eskoms distribution doing MV operating, line maintenance, line construction, substation inspection and maintenance, breaker maintenance and many related jobs
