Mechanical Engineering I’m an adaptable and innovative qualified Mechanical Engineer with experience in the power generation industry involved in the design and construction of “new-build” power stations. I seek a challenging position in a dynamic organization where I can learn, utilize and enhance my practical skills. To improve my competency level and thus become a professional expert in the mechanical engineering field by accumulating more experience in power plant, petro-chemical or mining industry and make a positive contribution to the field of Engineering & Technology.

Growing from strength to strength
I've been with my current employer since 2009 and i believe i have grown. my roles within the company have evolved.i started as a Graduate in Training and was had to learn fast when i was appointed Remuneration and Benefits Officer. the role that was exciting and exposed me to a lot of challenges as a result became "unpopular" i enjoyed interacting with Snr Management and under my mentors guidance and support everything was a breeze. its a very relaxed and casual environment and me and my colleagues work well, always ready to crack a joke and willing to step in whenever one of us needs assistance. HRBP portfolio can be stressful and it helps to have co-workers who are relaxed and always willing to get together at the tea station for some jokes and often time best solutions often come out of those tea station discussions.

ATTENDING TO PLANT ANOMALIES
Review previous night call outs stand by duties - any outstanding - priorities or any breakdowns that will immediate plant shutdown or safety hazards. Attending production planning and scheduling meeting with production department and other maintenance that is EMS; C&I , ENGINEERING. Check notifications and apply for permit to work after prioritizing - report to the immediate manger and production manager about any deviations or production bottlenecks. The most important is PRIORITY 1 job , first things first and giving feedback. I enjoy working as a team and tackling jobs that puts pressure on production site, by being innovative and working safely and effective , and after fixing anything right the first time and no come backs.

Have learnt so much and willing to learn so much more
On a day to day basis I am normally busy with analytical ( root cause analysis) type of job and reporting to various process partners. I work with a dedicated team of billing staff. I get fascinated by what I do, as on a day to ay basis I get to unpack what can be done to better the processes by various role players in the Manage revenue value chain. Error free and timely bills is a priority for me and the team. Through my leadership the team strives to deliver on this mandate. It can be challenging at times if not all role players are on board and deliver o their responsibilities.
Pros: Always exciting to be a role player in achieving organisational goals

Innovation skills
repetitive work almost everyday. management always try by all means to deny you a growing opportunity. I am easily getting along with almost every co-workers of mine. Ever since I have become a shop steward I have learnt a lot on how to handle legal matters at work place.

I would like to apply for the post of the position Electrical Engineering internship, I have been interested in working for your company for some time and I believe I have the skills and experience you need for this position. Since I completed my S4 academic studies at Mangosuthu University of Technology, I have been doing my in-service training at Eskom Holdings SOC LTD. At Eskom its where where I have completed my P2 and I worked as a Voluntary employee for 1 year. This has enabled me to develop skills in most of electrical engineering work. I have skills in Plant Maintenance, Transformer Testing, Protection Systems, Metering field and Drawing. I am able to carry out general Electrical duties such as electrical equipment testing, fault finding and substation equipment maintenance. I am motivated and reliable and feel that I am ready to take on a role that will allow me to develop further.

Building a relationship with my clients. i always ensure that my clients are happy even though its not easy. always ensure that myself and team we meet deadlines, if we could'nt rather I go back to the client informing that I am still busy with research or in the process of completing the task
