Its is a great environment to work, working hours are reasonable. relationship with the co-workers is good. I've learnt about Robotic Process Automation and even got certified as a Junior RPA devloper. I enjoy our team work. Business analysis.

Great Learning experience and growth
I currently work in the repairs department, this includes making sure the units are booked in timely for repairs and follow SLA's to meet targets. A typical work day includes following up with suppliers, creating quotes and sending them to clients for approval. booking back stock that is back from repairs and logging calls for returning the units to sites. It is a lot of work but not challenging for me now as it has become routine. Our team is small and we get along well, which then gets other teams enjoy working with us. We have even formed relationships outside the office. I used to be challenged with completing my call updates, ever since I created a working system for myself I have since enjoyed on it.

Store man (stock control) • Responsible for all the stock in the warehouse assigned to me. • Daily management of inventory. • Receiving of stock i.e. checking of quantities and quality of stock received from suppliers. • Monthly stock takes and stock reports. • Housekeeping in the warehouse • Issuing of stock for maintenance and instillation purposes. • Dispatching of stock to different branches as per picking slip. • Regular stock counts, stock reconciliation and forecasting. • Assisting with purchases and orders

Growing Pains
What I enjoy the most is that BCX introduced the Agile Policy where you are able to work from anywhere. I work from home most days and go into the office at least twice a month to meet with my colleagues. I was moved over to this team as our company merged with BCX, i was not provided with the necessary training as promised by my management team so i have been learning on the job trying to obtain as much information to assist me in understanding my role within the team. The most challenging is trying to get assistance from my Management team.

IT Desktop Technician
Work starts at 7 am for me to get the feel for the day ahead. I work for BCX and currently in roaming. i work on about 8 different sites. from Cape Town to Paarlden Ieland. i can do up to 1500 km a month.I work well with co-workers. doing the work or delegating. I have learnt that even thou all the site use the the same tech, each client use it differently with a hole lot of different challenges. I enjoy each challenge as each challenge has is own merit. The hardest part changes each day,someday i can't switch off, someday's it challenging to arrange a third party supplier and network team to setup up a meeting for roll outs

Cons: the hours do get in the way of family time from time to time

Technically challenging and important to paying attention to details
Fact finding is main key, for one to be professional and more helpful one need to fully understand the the problem of client, and understand your job specifications very well, one need to be professional and willing to provide a good quality service to clients, helping to the best of your knowledge and ability. Always keep the best interest of your clients and colleagues at heart. Because no1 clients are the reason why you are hired, no2 your colleagues are there to help and support you at all cost so that you can all bring good results for the company. Respect amongs each other brings a healthy working environment. And such environment brings fruitful out comes to everyone the company. A better way of staying positive is to be open minded and be willing to go an extra mile. Then everything will be right.
Pros: Loving what you do, always brings good outcomes, so one needs to have full understanding of what the job requires of him/her so that have a clearer direction of where to start and where to finish.
Cons: Willingness to go extra mile will always show that you got your work's best interest at heart. If you love and understand your job you won't have a problem with going an extra mile.

our company is a national company but despite being under section 189 for some time now and the fact that they are retrenching staff I need to look at new opportunities. I am a loyal worker and committed to them since 2003 and again from 2007 but I have to look at my own pocket at this stage.
Pros: great but not within the current situation they find themselves in
Cons: because they are so big they do not take personal matter into consideration, there decisions are global and stand with them even if its to their staffs own loss
