Excellent learning curve

It’s a very challenging type of work, but I’m growing and learning a lot from it. Team work is crucial in there, team goals are well articulated by their deadlines, and should be always communicated accordingly.

Competence

A good team player who thrives on engaging business solutions, is deadline orientated and has the ability to produce detailed technical specifications from client requirements. A quick learner who can absorb new ideas and can communicate clearly and effectively. Currently looking for an opportunity to join a dynamic, ambitious, business unit and do my best in work the environment.

Responsible for customer service experience across the following fields: Order fulfillment, • Coordinate and manage 3rd party technical teams that need to provide telecoms services. • Use project management methodology to ensure all new implementations and changes are delivered timeously and according to plan. Assurance / Fault and Incident management • Track all incidents to ensure timeous resolution. Budgeting and billing • Ensure that all services are provide within the allocated budget • Ensure these services are billed correctly. • Check Billing schedules regularly to ensure correctness. • Monitor and control back billing and credits notes. • Ratification of invoices. • Assist customers with cost savings initiatives Work with a very good team. Support staff is a bit problematic, as we done t get the support we need .

An amazing entry level learning curve

Helpdesk remote support including project management and customer facing tasks on a day to day basis. Onsite travelling for issues requiring physical presence. Hardware and software support for point of sale solutions. BCX is diverse and involved in futuristic project throughout the company. Struggling with revenue growth had the company in turmoil and restructuring processes had a lot of people leaving the company and loosing faith in it. I stayed because they needed me. But no growth is offered here. I feel stagnant. However, great organization that will surely do well in the near future.

Excellent learning experience

A typical work day would be support to the business. We are also involved in HR projects that range from small to big size. I have a great group of colleagues that work as a team. Unfortunately, i cannot say the same of management, there is no guidance or leadership. I have learnt how to deal with different types of people, cloud based solutions and how to work in a very unstable environment. I enjoy a challenge and love to find solutions to enhance the employee experience. the most challenging aspects of my job is when Management want to go forward with a plan but dont support IT to implement the system that drives the change.

Pros: I have a job :-)
Cons: No promotions, bonuses, acknowledgment

Great learning curve in IT

Working in my company is great flexible hours and the team that I'm working with, we share knowledge fairly. I've learnt that BATHO PELE principles as we serve Government Users. I enjoy working with users, you get to know colleagues when you troubleshooting over the phone. The challenges I face sometimes its when the network is congested and you cant remote to a users machine.

Pros: Good company when it comes to IT training and qualifications
Cons: Normal working hours "8hrs"

A great team team, leant so much

A bright, talented and ambitious IT support technician with a strong technical background who possesses self-discipline and the ability to work with the minimum of supervision. Having exposure to a wide range of technologies & able to play a key role in diagnosing hardware and software problems and to ensure that quality solutions meet business objectives. Possessing a good team spirit, deadline orientated and having the ability to organise and present complex solutions clearly and accurately. Looking for a suitable IT support technician position with a successful and dynamic company that offers room for progression.

Great learning curve

Ever since i joined BCX in 2016, I have worked in the Telkom Group Information Technology (TGIT) in Project Management Office as an administrator and moved to the SQA team where i am currently testing the Telkom Softwares.

Pros: Growth opportuinty
Cons: No promotion opportunity
