Great Learning Curve

I was trained and registered a debt collecter, had further training after being promoted as a legal debt collecter. I ultimately got promoted to be a scheduled electronic payments clerk, got trained for it and got better at it with experience.

Good experience

I am working as a debt collection agent at Vertex solutions. I collect,advice and make sure debtors do their best to repay their debts by educating them. I work under pressure and make sure my job is done from the fullest of my ability.

Excellent working environment

Vertex its a very good company that mostly you work with different people,it helps me a lot on e working with people.and the fact that I got an certificate after I finish my 3weeks training program. We work as a team ,we support each other.we divided in to 2 teams and got in to competition so we can reach our Target .

hereby would like to apply for the Call Centre Position Advertised. I strong believe that I should be considered for the position because I do have more than a year of experience working as a call centre agent in the Debt Collection Environment. The Experience that I have gained as a Debt Collector made me realize my potential as a call centre agent because it is overall a challenging environment which can really test your communication and telephone skills. I now know how to handle every sort of customer in different ways. Personally I am a Patient Person, I am a goods listener, I have a positive attitude in everything that I do which has a good outcome in my work ethic. I am available immediately

Active environment

A very nice, active environment with very lovely people who are target driven, like most call centres there's a whole lot of ups and downs with regards to consistency in terms of target. the workers there are friendly and professional, management has those people who who are considerate and treat employees with respect and you also find those who do not care about staff they only want the job to be done. In a nutshell good company bad management...

My experience at vertex has been great and I have learnt a lot since I started working at Vertex Solutions. From the financial tearms used to the way that the debt collection industry works. My typical day at work would start of by me arriving at work, switching my computer on depending on the shift I'd be working that week. Then I would log into the system, handle my call backs from the previous day and then I would move to the accounts for the day and start dailing. Sometimes my dailing would be interrupted by meetings with the team leaders, where they would breef us. aIfter all the dailing I would then knock off. That would be my day at work.

Pros: Great opportunity to learn about the financial world.
Cons: dealing with angry debtor's

Looking for new opportunities, growth and skills

A well being company of morethan 300 hard working consultants, about 10 team leaders and supervisors who are straining in hopes of building a successful quality work for clients Serious working hours of hardwork is worth the determination of exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly target even under lot of preassure and making a typical day look ordinary, with team work, curiosity and the willingness to learn, and grow There is so much challange when you find difficult and stulling debtors and having to meet your target but you seen not to be getting debtors and with no time at all, then you just have to refer and start giving the importance and reasons of why debit orders are more secure and tracing to get to your debtors when they are not found or changed numbers and also making sure you leave your DRM after every call as a reference
