I have learned a lot from visual merchandiser workshops from the edcon company, store layouts, colour Co ordination, marketing, how to execute promotions, how to research trending garments etc.

Pros: Great opportunity for growth

Learning

At unilever I am working three shift day shift,afternoon shift and night shift. The relationship with my co-workers is very good and we trained how to work with team. What I learnt at unilever is how to work with other people , I had a training in safety health representation and they give me a 6 month training. I was doing my in-service training in electrical engineering department to complete my ND diploma . What I enjoy most is going out with my team

Easy to learn and always willing to achive more in life

Collins is the person who s willing to work as hard as he can . HELP Driving the sales is my duty HELP PROMOTIONAL team with some ideas and tectics Negotiating some business on the blink spot and introduce some new items informing customer how the items works

Good opportunity

Manufacturing a product from the beginning to the end. regular checking on the lines. Pruducing quality and achieving daily targets. Following procedure for quality and safety reasons communication and working together between manegement and the floor. I learnt that if you do it right the first time you saving time and money. Good working environment make easy and enjoyable at the same time

Mixed feelings

The people you work with are great. The technology that you are exposed to is hi tec and state of the art. However the managers are crap. They always seem to be running with personal agendas, and are very 2 faced. They expect miracles from you and expect you to dedicate your entire life to the job, ignoring family and everything else. There are many bosses but not many leaders.

All round experience

Having an HR background, I didn't think I would move to another sector considering my experience but Unilever gave me the opportunity to move through different areas of the business which all grew me as an individual and in my career.

Pros: Great company with a good environment
Cons: No cons to my role. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The company i worked for is good it's just that I need a change in life

I learn a lot from this company and I wish to extend my experience and qualifications.I also wish to meet some new challenges from other companies .I enjoy a lot to work with my colleagues and they are free and friendly.
