i work for 8hours a day my relationship with my co workers is excellent we work together as a team and respects our customers. iv learnt alot..good products ..good customer service. i deliver the best service to our customers.. i follow smollan values. m so proud to be a part of smollan group. sometimes is challenging ..sometimes customers become hard or harsh but i always remember the law that a customer is always write. i dont shout or argue with the clients,at the end they shud remain happy and buy our products.
Pros: for me its a great opportunity to fork for this company because it deliver the best to our clients.
Cons: m happy with the hours that i work .i dont complain because thats normal hours.and m getting paid for them.

Business School
Working for Unilever it has been a great experience, I learn a lot in terms of business. How the retail corporate world function, how to push the sales through point of sales, how sales volume works and also making sure there is a availability of stock on shelf to be sold to the customers. What I can say is that merchandising is not just s job its business schools were you do your business in practical
Pros: Its difficult to get promotion
Cons: I've been working at retailing more than a decade now im used to long hours

Great working environment
working for Unilever was a great opportunity for a person like me because it was the first I work for a big company like that and doing merchandising. I learnt a lot while working there. from packing the shelves to pricing then doing the promotions and placing orders for the retail stores. I learnt team working and accurate time management.
Pros: great opportunity to know how to pack the shelves

Great leaning opportunity in a friendly environment
The work I did was shift work where I worked 3 shift early in the year and changed to 12hour shifts later on. Daily responsibilities were the operation of a sunlight semi automatic production line with a team of 7 operator of different skill levels. The atmosphere was great and conducive for learning as the higher ranked operators encouraged engaging with them and imparted their skills with us. At first it was challenging because where I was stationed alot of manual labor was required but later I got a hang of it and if became second nature. The working arrangements promoted interpersonal interactions as we worked in close proximity and got to know alot about each other making our team gel well and become unified. I enjoyed how the structure of the company was setup and their values.The director was very engaging and social and advocated for real connection withing everyone making the workplace a fun and interactive place to be.

I would have love to learn more and grow within the company
It was a good environment to interact with company's employees on daily basis. It was easy for me to understand how the production done. It was my duty to make sure that assets or equipments are always in good condition not to fail the company's business of the day. Through my job requirement was easy to have a budget for the next financial year. Unilever taught me that time is very crucial, we must do what we are paid for to rich our daily target - it was a biggest lost to the company if there any breakdown.

Cons: 8 hours, I would go extra hours when there is a need

Excellent learning curve
I've been at the company for 15 months therefore I am still learning the ropes of a quality Technician. My experience has been fair, my co workers and my team are very open and warm. My typical work day includes laboratory analysis for non conformance of finished goods, as well as inspection of any non conformance, i.e organoleptic tasting etc. What I enjoy most is the trust and responsibility given to me, especially at an early age of my career. This has helped me to grow as an individual. My poepke skills has improved immensely as my job is hands-on and you directly deal with people.
Pros: Staff sale on Unilever products and products rewards on good performance of the factory.
Cons: Shift work and long working hours.

Easy to learn and always willing to achive more in life
Collins is the person who s willing to work as hard as he can . HELP Driving the sales is my duty HELP PROMOTIONAL team with some ideas and tectics Negotiating some business on the blink spot and introduce some new items informing customer how the items works
Pros: promoting some of the slow lines items to increase the sales

Great growing curve
Working for Unilever is a great opportunity I have , there are trainings done to grow and make sure u work safe there are challenge since I'm working at the packing floor with people of different race and mind set but I alweys make shore that we get along and do the job we came for.
Pros: there are promosions
Cons: working hours are just right 8hours a day
