I enjoy working with my tea members in making sure that we deliver and exceed the targets. I have learned not to only put myself first but to put others first or put myself in their shoes, in that way I know exactly how they feel & how I should respond. I enjoy writing to both the organisation & external customers

I am competent and able to work perfect in a team

Telkom is a diverse company wher one can learn a lot of things and have more experience not in one departmewnt but in all the areas of learning like starting a project from start to finish.

Pros: Great opportunity for promotion

Excellent work experience

Despite everything that happens at the work place especially misunderstandings between employees. I am very grateful for everything the company has done for me. Unfortunately they had to retrench me, but all in all I I had the best work experience of my life.

Pros: Work was no longer challenging

Telkom was a good learning curve for self equipment and knowledge to be come marketable.

Self motivation, computer literacy skills, effective interaction abilities, communication skills, problem solving skills, accuracy and methodical work ethics.  Ability to work independently, under pressure and focus on detail and procedures.

Cons: Working hours 7.30am to 16.30

Excellent learning curve,

Management style is bad, middle management not in charge of what they are are employed to do, they are managed by strings from higher up the ladder, even when things are not correct they just play along.

Pros: Good salary.
Cons: No opportunity for promotion

Excellent learning curve

Good company to work for but the main problem is favouritism. To grow up and develop you should know someone. They give people without skills and strategic plans to save the company higher positions.

There is so much to as every day we tackle different issues from different customers

Focus on Customer service. Getting problems of customers resolved. Working well together as a team. Interact a lot with customers all the time. Sales Agent Duties : -Provide solutions to the problems that customers may be facing as regards to their network, connections, telephone system and other related problems. -Providing contracts for different services; Mobile, Landline and DSL. -Providing answers to all the queries of the customer and ensure that these complaints are sorted out. -Dealing with tense situations where customers are angry or rude for a variety of reasons and trying to resolve them; by making a difference in how I would respond in those situations in a professional manner as possible. Which as a result makes the customer feel satisfied with the resolution(s).

Customer services

I worked at telkom, i made a mistake of saying unemployed, as right now im not working. I worked at telkom for 8 years as data testing agent, sales consultant . Our main concern was to make customer happy and meet their needs.

Pros: Excellent expirience dealling with client
Cons: Unhappy customer cancelling service
