I started working for Telkom in 2016 may.I was appointed as an intern,where our mentor is grooming us with different skills.I love working for telkom because I am becoming creative each day,I know how to work with most personalities.I enjoy working with my team because with them I learn many things everyday.

Telkom experience

We deal with clients everyday complaining about our service...we log the complaints on our systems and send in thru to technicians..the management is nice but not all of them ..the people i worked with is humble very much goal orientated and very much sweet...the most challenging part is being screamed at by rude customers you have to keep your cool no matter what.the most enjoyable part is when we relax all together lunch,sports etc. Thats when we all happy.

Pros: permanent staff get promotions
Cons: long hours

Voice and data specialist

Im also excellent in bookings for repairs,recieving,phone setups,router, laptops setups, proccesing of new contracts with excellent customer service and selling skills

Pros: I enjoyed solving customer problems and come with solutions
Cons: 7:30 am to 7pm

I learnt a lot about customer service at Telkom ,

Telkom has been been a good company to work for the 16 years service. Amongst many administration tasks we provide quotations ,market Telkom products,all PABX related services ,voice ,data and Mobile offers and attending to all telecommunications related queries and Marketing campaigns and planning thereof and making sure that the customer is always satisfied.

Pros: Great employee benefits
Cons: Challenges of job cutting

I am a driven individual .

I enjoy getting challenges at work and mostly dealing with the change with my team so we can point the different ideas. My work day start at 8am to 5pm i work as and Admin consultant I was promoted due to my hard work and determination. I started as a call centre agent assisting customers with best customer service and within 6 months was promoted. I log fault via emails and technical support via emails and admin duties. My relationship with my co-worker is good because i go to them for advise and they come to me you can say i am a bubbly person. I have learned that if you love something you must do your level best to prove that particular thing is best for you. I enjoy reading and love being around people who have fun and also brains. The most challenge of my job is when the customer does not understand what you have emailed and you have to phone them in order to understand.

Pros: Enjoy communication with people and getting the best result with my assistant.
Cons: Need better income and gain more experience.

I've learnt a lot from my previous experiences.

I have customer service experience. Did sales for jewellery shops , did promos work and previously worked at Telkom store . I volunteerialy worked as an awareness coach , drug and alcohol awareness. I'm an currently looking for a new venture to grow as an individual and learn more things.

Pros: Great customer service, learn to adapt to helping people and putting customers first
Cons: Worked retail hours

Learnt alot in the technical enviroment that can carried out in other companies and daily lifes

working in an enviroment , not just taken has a job, this needs to something we look forward to on a daily basis and strive to fill all duties and tasks given throw out my work we learn that we need too make things a task and be the best at it at all time make sure tasks are done to perfection

Pros: make your envrioment like your home be happy
Cons: the long hours we work without stress shows we love our jobs

Challenging, value for time well spent, room for individual improvement with various opportunities to enhance oneself via sponsored tuition and inline learning. AN environment that offers a chance to socialize, both internal and external whilst learning about latest trends in communication and industry related matters

Pros: Opportunities available for self develoment
Cons: Development and career improvement jindered by lack of vacancies caused by lack of job rotation
