An excellent learning curve

Its a small workplace An interesting and a lot of work to do You learn the depth of police work Easily to adapt,I had no challenges,I worked perfectly with my co workers,every target of the month was reached if not we would work extra hours. I can't say I had any challenges everything was just fine, I learnt so much things I didn't know about the SAPS,not every company is perfect as to why people have an issue of police vans not responding,those people are busy but try to meet everybody's needs within the community. I've learnt a lot,within the course I studied, went to courts,bail hearings,sending dockets to courts everything about law basically and the dedication you have to have while working with different people,acting the batho Pele principles to,knowledge of different departments.

Pros: Its great but you wait a long time to be accepted for a permanent posy

I have a courage to work independently and working with group

I'm in possession of Extra curricular Diploma in Criminal Justice and Forensic investigations obtained from University of Johannesburg , a B-Tech Degree in Public Management obtained from Durban University of Technology. I have worked at SAPS as Police for a period of Six year. I have worked two years at eThekwini Municipality as an Allocations Officer. I'm currently employed at SA Post Officer as a crime prevention officer / Investigator. I have manage to recover the company money estimated to R400000. I have strong character and ability work independently. I'm computer literate, knowledge of legislative frame work and principles of Batho Pele.

Pros: I'm a hard worker and dedicated to my work.

A great learning opportunity

It’s an 8 hours of making sure that we help pay the police for their extra hours. I work well with my colleagues in helping achieve the day to day goals. I have learnt to work under pressure and to do the task as efficiently as possible because salaries closes The most challenging factor is when the police being their paper work that are incorrect and we have to keep telling them over and over again o. What they should do

Good company

Offering 10 years of proven experience developing, implementing, analytical and strategic financial processes for major government in South African Police Service. I am confident that I am the best applicant for this job. I will review and monitor your financial records to ensure they are updated and accurate. I will also go over your financial practices to look for ways to cut back and reduce spending to help increase profits. I have experience performing Administration clerical duties that includes using office equipment, filing, record keeping and I can use MS programs such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel proficiently. I always use my time wisely, keep things organized and I can work efficiently even when under a lot of pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Excellent Leaning Curve

Good working environment since working there and having good relationship with co-workers working as a team and learned to prepare budget for the station requested not in line with my job description. since employed with Metric certificate, i was eager to lean further and given function such as compilation of Financial Statements for Semi= official Institution within the SAPS and Submit Returns for the Members on request . my favorite functions was Tax Function, Financial Statements, Debtors, Creditors, Bookkeeping to Trail balance and mostly Secretarial Function for Companies to assist with compliance. The Challenging aspect in my career is Auditing and reviews of which at this moment busy studying Audit further to overcome the challenge.

Excellent team player

I am executing social work services which includes counseling, marketing social work services, conducting workshops, doing home visits, compiling monthly report, assist with events planning in relation to HIV/TB. The work environment is very accommodating as colleagues are suportive and always guide me. Ive learnt to be independent and organize my work and im looking forward to learning more things. The people are team players and supportive. One thing I find challenging is that sometimes people with high ranks do not want interns to render services for then and they have the right to chose whom they want to consult with but that on my side also limits me to do my work

Work load

the department supply chain comprises of asset and inventory management, fleet /logistics, invioce administration, acquisition/procurement/purchasing management, Building/ facility management, occupational health and safety and lastl Demand Management. the employee is developed by internal training/courses and job rotated along the above mentioned section. the work load is extraneous reconsidering the pay/salary. team work is crucial and Discipline is the foundation of the company.

Cons: salary scale low
