Excellent expirience

Working at SITA was good , i had to meet new people and gained more knowledge from team. It was such a good experience i met new friends when you have a close friend at work, you feel a stronger connection to the company, and you’re more excited about coming into work every day. You attach yourself to the company’s purpose and collaborate better to create success for the business.

Training provided

To establish myself in a dynamic environment, where my innovative and creative skills as well as my expertise in IT Programming will be readily available to others whilst gaining in-depth knowledge and insight from a diverse group. I plan to continue my education (through studies and on the job training and/or courses sponsored/ recommended by employer, to keep up to date in the ever-changing field. Continued education will also allow me to pursue researches in specific areas and keep up with new developments as they emerge, thereby gaining better working knowledge .

Junior network engineer

I am currently a junior experiential network engineer, the position i am in is not permanent, therefore i am currently looking for a position or opportunity longer,I got an opportunity to relocate to SITA NOC in order to accommodate my studies, and gain more exposure with a different department. i have inquired expertise in the network industry and willing to grow.

Just moderate

The company has been known as a procurement agency sibce inception and never focused on mordenising or upgradibg government systems and infratructure. The company has a lot of catching up to do in order to keep up with global digital transformation and ict changes.

Days work of a Trainer

Analyse training performance problems Conduct training needs analysis Design and development training materials and syllabus for all programmes. Facilitate and conducting training for client in all aspects of the systems. Monitor the training progress. Evaluate the training outcomes. Managing and administration of training environment. Maintaining links with training institutions and training providers. Monitor and evaluate all training activities. Conduct and compile training evaluations. Compile and produce training reports.

Pros: good company to work for with good prospects for future growth.

Excellent potential for growth

Excellent opportunity for career growth and opportunities are plenty to express creativity. System are set and change is hard to impliment. New and fresh ideas are accepted but take a lot of convincing. Change of environment is most welcome but resources are limited and this slow down the process of implantation.

Great opportunity to expand and grow

I develop crystal reports, write SQL queries to support the programming language which is called Uniface. Write Codes and Unit test Develop & Maintain intergrated IT softwares Conduct investigations on existing technologies a And enhance where required Analyze and resolve technical problems . I work in a team of 20 people. I usually plan team functions as I relate well with most of them so it’s easier to get things done quicker. Since I joined this team I’ve learned that everyday is an opportunity to learn something new and to show others what you’ve learned so that they can also become better. Our client system is very complex so it’s taking me a long time to actual master it but as I test my work i always learn something new .

Pros: Great opportunity to learn and understand logistics and how big systems work . Especially in a structured environment
Cons: Learning logistics part of the system usually takes longer
