Company with international exposure
I am looking for a company that will give more of an international exposure in IT consulting. I have been working in both corporate banking industry, government IT consulting for a combined period of 8 years.

Excellent exposure to different working tools and departmets
typical day starts with getting to my duties then tea break after 3 hours of being available in my workstation then proceed until lunch hour and throughout the day.I am working with a wonderful team that is supportive,helpful and professional.i have learned to deal with our clients in a professional but kind manner,the importance of time management and being open to learn from each member of my team daily.What i enjoy the most is to make an effort to successfully give the best service to our clients and escalate where possible.the most challenging aspect is when my main working tool gets to be unavailable for more than 30 minutes while our clients are frustrated and there's is not much to be done

Excellence and efficiency
SITA present an opportunity on daily basis to provide support to cost centre managers but most important to express your level of growth and development in your career. I work closely in a team however continually challenged to show my leadership and people management skills. What I enjoy most is to put in practice my knowledge and experience in assisting others or carrying out activities to achieve my daily goals. Technically my job in financial accounting and management accounting requires me to be thorough and so the ability to give attention to details and accuracy is the most challenging aspect of my work.

Communication skills
I work an 8 hour shift, I have a learnt a lot from Sita such as my enabling skills, the company trained us and gave us workshops to better out skills by communication, customer relationship etc.. What i enjoyed the most was the free internet ,what challenged me is project we use to work on did not have much information to provide to the clients calling in

I am responsible for the following: • Managing efficient and cost effective strategic sourcing, bid management of goods and services. • Managing Commodity Sourcing Strategy for Capital Projects. • Lead a Cross Functional Team in the compilation of mandatory supplier requirements. • Conduct research and analysis of supplier markets spend and TCO analysis for assigned commodities. • Coordinates the preparation of bid documentation for the procurement of commodities and services. • Implement specific basic sourcing strategies that provide end-to-end integrated opportunities for efficiency improvements. • Identify opportunities in the ICT cluster where basic sourcing can add value or extract savings. • Request quotation from suppliers as per the specifications. • Convenes and chairs meetings of the bid evaluation committees. • Participate in the evaluation of supplier tender submissions in line with the Regulations, i.e. PFMA, PPPFA, National Treasury prescripts, etc.

Amazing challenge supporting SANDF system
Relationship with co workers is very inspirational.I am a peoples person and I am always willing to help any individual. Coworkers look up to me and value my place in the team.I constantly supply mentoring to team members.Attend to user requests either via ITSM or direct landline.Attend to problems regarding system and find a solution.Propose new and more efficient ways of doing transactions within the system.System is very large wrt transactions because it handles all logistics wrt to SANDF.I havent learnt how to be a good leader,I could take on the role of a manager.System is complex so it is challenging when I come across new problems in the system that I end up resolving and passing on the knowledge to coworkers.

Work summary
Every work has its challenges but i enjoyed working there because i am always up for challenges. the relationship with my co-workers was good even though we are coming from different background I was patient even if i got provoked as i acquired knowledge while still studying about organisational behaviour. Being professional, listening actively and being part of the solution are vital when I work in a team, and I believe this is a real strength of mine, ability to get along with different personalities. I have learned that working as a team will produce good results and achieving goals at the company and that sometimes I have to work individually to show that I know my story.Since I started work there I enjoyed each and everyday because i was doing what I love most.
