My current job as a hr consultant gives me the opportunity to interact with people which I enjoy .The best part of my job is I get to contribute in ensuring both companies and the employees interest are taken care of by ensuring gorvenance and policy,as well as to ensure benefits and payroll are allocated as should

Not good currently
The current environment is not ideal. although there was growth and learning opportunities in the past, this is not the case anymore. the culture and spirit is not great at the moment

Good learning curve
It's good working for my company and I would like to extend my knowledge to other equipments and upgrading myself and people I'm working with are good and love working with me.I also like the challenges at work like solving problems and I do acting foreman most of the time.

Good worker
It is nice o work at Sasol its a stable company Start in the morning with a meeting and then the rest of the day we have meeting, scoping and planning shutdowns on Artimas and integrate Micro soft project in to Artimas My work relation ship is very good with my co workers I learnt to work under pressure Also got my Post graduate Diploma in project Management I enjoy scoping hand on site and execution of the plan Getting scope of work From plant and to execute shutdowns is challenging some days

My character and strengh
Its great to work with socialites and still find it well to complete tasks, I am a team player and i like helping each other and teaching, i also like to be part of opening doors and assisting in management and giving ideas.

Mechanical engineer
Even though I fail I dont give up . WheneWherever I want to do something I don't get it right for the First time I dont give up easily.. for me to be where i am in life it wasn't that easy and I'm wiĺing to learn

Job experience
We work 12 hours a day and day is challenging Changing shifts with difference people While working you have to think of solving problems lets say someone left the plant upside down and you must fix all of that to make your procuct on spec or the way it is desired on required parameters Working overtime can be fun and it challenges your work ability We do online coarses and other coarses as well We sometimes get gifts for excellent work we do We work as a team I got my self level4 in chemical operations And communication skills certificate

High performance environment
I work in a highly pressurised environment I enjoy learning and getting more experience I like working in a big company with good reputation I service 6 departments I enjoy Employment Equity as I love seeing the difference in the previously disadvantaged people and also diversity inclusion I would love to get exposure in strategic management I am a completer meaning that I do my work diligently and enjoy seeing results in my quality work I love working unsupervised as it gives me accountability I am a very open minded person, assertive and very professional I maintain professionalism with my co-workers Everyday comes with new challenge and prioritising is very important as almost everything is urgent I enjoy employee engagement sessions with my clients as this is my passion

Business and operational acumen
I am currently working 4 by 5 shifts of 12 hours. During off days I am requested to be on standby. One shift consist of seven personnel whom we work well as a shift and individually. The most interesting aspect of this job is the opportunity granted to me from time to time to act as a shift supervisor and run the shift. We are encouraged to perform every duty as safely as possible because safety is our number one priority.
