work day: daily morning meeting with artisans to discuss work and safety, call production personnel to see if they any emergencies except planned work. Do inspections and then daily planned work. relationship: everyone is a team player lessons learned: sticking to company policies & procedures will always lead everyone to the right direction and purpose of the company. Enjoy most: I take delight in solving emerging problems especially during our shutdown time. challenging aspects: Our shutdown time, because one everyone in a team have to take responsibility of a number of people from service provider and their safety including problems they will encounter.
Pros: you develop yourself to apply for open position- no promotios
Cons: I do long working hours during my standby and shutdowns or breakdowns.

ITS WAS GOOD WORKING AT SASOL BECOUSE I HAD TO LEARN A LOT AND MEET NEW EXPERIANCED PEOPLE,I AM A GOOD TEAM PLAYER SO MY RELATIONSHIP WITH MI CO WORKERS WAS PERFECT WE GOT ALONG JUST FINE AT WORK AND OUT SIDE WORK,I HAVE LEARNED A LOT AS I STARTED AS A PROCESS LEARNER I HAD TO MEET MORE EXPERIENCED PEOPLE THAT HAVE BEEN WORKING FOR SASOL OVER 30 YEARS AND LEARNED A LOT FROM THEM,I ENJOYED BEEN PART OF THE TEAM THE MOST AND THERE UNDERSTANDING AS I WAS A LEARNER AND MORE THE WAY WE WORKED TOGETHER TO EXECUTE PROBLEMS AND PROBLEM SOLVING AS A TEAM,THE MOST CHALLENGING ASPECTS AT MY JOB WAS WHEN I WAS JUST SITTING NOT WORKING AS I AM A WORKERHOLIC I REALY HATE SITTING AT WORK AND DOING NOTHING .

A GOOD LEARNING CURVE AND EXPIRIENCE GAINED
HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH MY TEAM. I HAVE LEARNED A LOT IN PROCESSES OF THE PLANT AND PETROCHEMICAL ENVIRONMENT. WORKING NIGHT SHIFT AT TIMES IS CHALLENGING. I ENJOYING WORKING WITH MY TEAM. IT HAS ALSO TAUGHT ME A LOT WHEN IT COMES TO SAFETY.

Good learning curve
It's good working for my company and I would like to extend my knowledge to other equipments and upgrading myself and people I'm working with are good and love working with me.I also like the challenges at work like solving problems and I do acting foreman most of the time.

Very good experience
I have 11 years electrical experience providing technical support to plant electrical departments; I am a Senior Electrical Technician My responsibilities include Maintenance, Testing, Fault finding on Plant equipment not performing to OEM specification , Investigations, Shutdown planning and coordination, single and multi-disciple project management, and Asset Management to improve plant availability, stability and reliability. I am a disciplined, self-motivated and devoted individual who rejoice in the engineering field and always strive for excellence and positive results in my job. I believe that I have necessary qualifications and experience to successfully fulfill your requirements. I am confident that my current skills and knowledge that I have acquired in my current and previous positions will provide me with the capability to successfully perform this job in your organization.

Iam a hard working person who is dedicated to learn and prosper in my working environment.
SASOL is one of the best cooperate industry in petrochemical,we work 40hrs per week fro 07H00 to 16H00 afternoon then on fridays we knockoff at 13H00,we only work over the weekend if there is need for job and company comply 100% with conditions of laboure relations act,co-workers are very much outstanding as we are each brothers keepers meaning we are looking for each other interms of safety and helping each other work wise.I learnt to be hard working employee,tolerance,respect,panctuality,clean and to participate in all activities that prevails within our work area,i completetly enjoy being part of skilled employee becouse i learned from the best.The most challenging aspects of the job was to be precise,careful,knowlegable and accurate in what you are excuting as we dominantly work with Pressure Safety Valve(PSV,TSVs)in our daily bases.
Pros: Advantages of working in SASOL are,it complies with rules of laboure relations act and it offers unlimited medical aid cover and lastly its job i guranteed for long(permanant)
Cons: Disadvantages of working in this company are ,we work with a very dangarous chemicals,etc Nitrogen,Tar,Acid and other dangerous gases

Continuous learning and improvement
-Over 15 year’s professional experience in project controls and solid background in financial management and control. Specialist level experience within various sectors (Oil & Gas, Engineering, Offshore and Onshore Drilling projects, Energy, Rail infrastructure, rolling stock manufacturing, Construction, Petrochemical, and Government). Being involved in various projects in various streams i.e. upstream, midstream & downstream mainly small to mega sized projects from Inception, front end loading (FEL), construction/execution and close out and implementation phases of large scale projects using various multi-currency reporting, complex infrastructure and capital projects. I have been involved in projects for the past 10 years such as Gas to Liquids (GTL)/Coal to liquids (CTL) projects, Rail and Roads infrastructure, Trains manufacturing, Construction of houses and other Facilities, pipelines, R&D, Studies , Plant upgrade including maintenance, Oil & Gas drilling land and on sea wells drilling.
