I am a fast learner
I currently work as a Surveyor at sasol Mining under leadership of Frans Coetzee After discussing with Frans I have taken the advise to seek a different environment so that I get get equipped and develop on the route to attaining Mines Surveyor ticket.
Pros: I have learned a lot at sasol mining, dealing with characters both positive and negatives
Cons: we currently work 10 hours per day

Challenging yet great environment
Having studied Journalism & Media studies, my passion for Public relations and Communication has immensely improved as I have acquired expertise in two various fields/environment of work. Cascading information in a daily basis form part of my daily tasks, thus I have acquired skills in creating content for the internal newsletter, capturing events as they happen, press release statements, advising or give input on decisions that influence the reputation of the company etc. As part of my experience, I have worked in the Business Improvement/Intergration field where I have worked closely with leaders in the mining sector offering assistance in Work Scheduling for employees, creating content for weekly presentations for the managers, tracking actions of issues raised in engagements with workers, and being the middle man in team sessions that help increase productivity and morale in the business

Plant experience
being in the plant every day of my working days has given me a lot of experience in relating to different people of different race and technical experience by attending to many different break downs in the plant for mechanical and electrical. Also in leadership by guiding and giving instructions to my helpers and learnt a lot in the many supervisors I worked with.

As a mining engineer, worked at several projects for shaft sinking, board and pillar development and on shafts rehabilitation My experience started working as an operator promoted to Miner, studying further to be a shift boss and promoted to mine overseer in 2014 then mining engineer in 2016. Currently studying MBA at mancosa and completed N6 in electrical engineering, mining engineering at university of Johannesburg in 2012. In position of mine managers and mine overseer certificate
Pros: Currently acting as production manager and willing to be appointed as mining manager then general manager in the coming five years.

Great company to work for
It's is a good company that looks at empowering and growing employees,the interests of the employees is priority.safety is number one and well being of workers is also in the forefront.there is less gap between management and field workers.easy to access top management and level of transparency is excellent.
