A typical day at work includes escorting dangerous suspects to court,trace and apprehend most wanted suspects,attend to farm attacks and hostages,escort firearms from the provincial office to ballistics office in Pretoria, gather information on CIT and robbery gangs,profile,trace and arrest them.My relationship with colleagues is that of true brothers because we work as a six men team and move always buddy buddy when approaching targets,so my life is entirely on my partners patriotism
Pros: Teaches me to trust my colleagues since my life rests squarely on my partner's shoulders when approaching targets, helps me with understanding of court proceedings and criminal law as I get to sit long hours in court, I have learned and mastered the art of information gathering,surveillance and counter surveillance
Cons: Long hours,risky working environment, insufficient danger allowance, low housing subsidy and no car subsidy

Hard worker and perform post to the best of my knowledge
A typical work day at SAPS is great due to the fact that I am continuously busy. I always help co workers if they need assistance and we all had a great working relationship. I have gained a huge amount of knowledge in SCM. I most enjoyed my work ad there is no challenging aspect to the job. I would therefore be a great asset to your company.

Exellent learning experience
working at SAPS is really giving Me a good experience it is very pleasing working there as have already learned lot of about rules and regulation,as is not always good in working environment and have learned that there's nowhere you can always be happy but the best thing is to enjoy what you doing because you will have was to tolarete and live with thing as itnis what am doing.

I have served my country for 27 years honourable. I have a clean record .
I am part of a team that specializes on the criminal activities of gangsterism in the western cape. We use all sort of methods trying to put the culprits behind bars in the framework of the law. Because im working at Crime intelligence i can not divulge anymore as i have signed documents not to explain the working methodology of my unit. I have an excellent relationship with my colleagues. I have investigated various high profile gangsters. .

Knowing the different methods of human behaviour when conducting crime
Lab Supervisor managing the laboratory and its human resource. Build customer trust by providing them with quality products for their satisfaction. The environment utilised the most high chemicals and specialized equipment to acheive its task. I analyze the samples brought by the investigators to our lab sometimes are visit the crime scene to collect valuable evidence for investigations. The most challenging aspects is that we are working with criminals but the employer ensure d that we are well equipped with safety

Cons: Start working at 7:30 then lunch at12:30 then knockoff at 16:00 and if you are on standby u start after the duty off time the next day at 7:00 but working 4 days in and two days rest

Excellent learning platform
working for saps is like working for an individual who does not appreciate your hard work.work monday to monday sometimes because of standby and in return you get a rest day.relationship wise with the other co-workers is very solid.i have learned alot in this organization in terms of investigation.i enjoy investigating.most challenging aspects is resources.

Good learning curve
develop yourself in different fields there are courses available where u can learn but u dont get any promtion for attending courses so its rather useless a person doesnt wven get paid for going on course very little overtime so u dont have that extra money to safe a persons salary doesnt even provide for all the personal expenses
