Excellent learning curve
Preventive maintenance, inspection, repairs and fault finding on Cranes 55Tons and Hoist 15Tons. * Monitor and maintain Three 21MVA single phase Transformers (33000V step down to 176V, 485A to 64250A) including monitoring oil levels, testing of safety devices ( Buccholz relays, Pressure release valves, Fire suppression systems). * Inspection, monitoring and adjusting limit switches for the Furnace electrodes slipping devices, changing Bus Tubes. * Inspection, maintaining, repair or replacement of all electrical equipment and components including Motors, Pumps and Fans ranging from 0,5KW to 1800KW, Lights, Plugs, Portable electrical equipments, Trip wires, Limit switches, Proximity switches, Level sensors, Soft starters, Variable speed drive, Contactors, Overloads, Relays, Timers, circuit breakers. * Inspection and maintain of 110V Battery's protection panel and UPS systems, switching High Voltage and Isolating 6600V breakers.
Pros: I would like to grow and develop within a company where team work plays a role, resources and opportunities are offered to develop employees and maximize organizational productivity.
Cons: I'm will to work weekends, overtime and standbys.

Was good learning curve
Was a great experience to work for the mine. Was very productive experience which I got and learned alot especially with different type of ethnic groups.

Ambitious person ,easy to learn ,and energetic person.
Supervision role on subordinates. Coaching of subordinates. Inspection of plant and final products for quality. Doing IDPs for Subordinates( Individual Development Programme). SAP time management HR. First line maintenance.
Pros: Great opportunity to career growth.
Cons: working 12 hours shift when one supervisor is not at work.

Good environment for learning,gained a lot from there
Gained a lot from working at samancor,it was a good environment for me to explore more about my career/field of my study.had opportunity to explore the mining sector from raw material

Enormous learning curve as manager and person.
Samancor is a large diverse mining company allowing exposure and growth. The company strive towards performance regocnition and social development. Samancor drives community upliftment through various projects and invest in the areas they operate in. Samancor is also a good company to enhance your skills as you are exposed to all aspects of the business. Samancor also delivers on promise and goals are clear to all roleplayers.
