Great at prioritising
I am an admin assistant. My daily tasks are to check emails, and do whatever tasks are requested of me by the project manager, I have to upload leave from staff on ess daily. I have to give feedback about any hr related tasks at our site. It is my duty to communicate any information that came from project manager. I have to keep and type minutes of meetings at a professional level.

• Capture all relevant patient data relating to HIV /TB services from paper files /paper patient register onto the relevant electronic data base on a daily basis, including data relating to current visits as well as data relating to past visits (his torical data). • Obtain guidance from supervisors / managers in case of uncertainty about patient data entry. • Reach daily targets for number of files captured and/or updated, as agreed upon with Line Managers. • Record stats relating to daily work performance (‘data entry stats’), to enable line manager to manage the employee’s work performance. • Respect patient confidentiality at all times.

It is a good company to can work for
Right to Care offers flexible working hours per day - which is 8hrs excluding lunch breaks. You can propose for personal trainings to your growth and also given an opportunity towards your career development by In-Service trainings and many others. I have learnt that you must take your own initiatives towards your personal growth. I enjoy learning from others and mostly people are willing to help. I think the challenge with my job is that growth is very slow and salary not that satisfactory.
Pros: advantage of getting a bursary to learn towards career path

Rewarding experience with proactive team
I interact and assist patients and colleagues. Where there's a need I help and never allow my work to suffer on the process. I have basic administration skills which allow me to capture and analyse data, with computer skills that I have all is easily executed for I can safely store all data collected with high confidentiality. My day is complete when 1/ more people are fully assisted and can live a better life through my contribution. Doing all in time and going an extra mile also make me proud. Lack of resources makes ones job difficult and many suffer on the process.
Pros: Going an extra mile and being committed to what I do calls for a promotion.
Cons: I can work up ten hours per day so that all can be thoroughly done

Training oppoturnities nd continuous inservise training.
Clock in and arrive in the MMC Clinic and do our morning Damp dusting in the procedure room/Theater area, it is a walk in clinic we wait for clients to come and seek the service. a day will consist of one Doctor,one registered Nurse, 4 enrolled Nurses,one admin clerk and one Counselor. Overall supervision of staff, administration,ordering of pharmacy stock ,dry dispensary and hard and soft. stock taking.
Pros: Monday to Friday weekends off
Cons: not having patients seeking our service

Excellent learning curve
I was employed as a Data Capturer at right to care for both 2016 and 2017 as a contract. We were dealing with capturing HIV positive inmates into provincial health system for statistics purposes. The experience was nice but the environment was quite scary.

New Challange
My typical day is very busy day with meetings and travel, I relate well with co-workers even though at times we do get to have our differences, respect for peoples opinions is key to creating strong teams and ensuring that there is good polarisation of ideas , enjoy helping people and adding value to my unit or team, challenging aspects are data completeness and defensive and unprofessional personalities that I at times have to deal with.
Pros: Opportunity to learn and expand my knowledge

Implementation of the quality improvements methods to close identified gaps
During the day to day i help the DoH staff members on difficult HIV and TB case management. My coworker are more supportive and help me especially with the data to realize where need to improve. It is easier to even deals with the clients with two consecutive unsuppressed viral load. The learning curve is that a good working environment can lead to an good quality work. The challenging issues is Viral Load completion and suppression rate that is not easily achievable especially for the town clinics.

It it's pros and cons
No job security high risk of being retrenched.They do thier own things they don't really follow procedures, favoritism. They only react when something happens, they are not proactive. They pay well but don't take care of employees, in terms of growth and development. Management is totally ignorant.
