Currently I'm working at Rhodes food Groups krugersdorp Gauteng as a qualified electrician artisian for the company performing all duties for a qualified electrician artisian for the company.

Excellent learning curve
Working at Rhodes Food Group as Seamer Mechanic can be very challenging because you have to make the management happy by producing well on daily basis with faulty cans from the suppliers, faulty old machines and incompetent team leaders. That has enabled me to be a very good and hardworking candidate under impossible conditions and situations. We have built a very strong team with co worker and support each other if needs be. The things that makes me enjoy working here is that you have to deal with a new problem every day and I have rebuild many of the company machines and also improved the machine efficiency and availability.

Due to different production facilities inner growth equals to success. There's opportunities to work with all different departments. (Finance, Marketing, Production, Technical, QA, NPD etc)

Excellent stepping stone in a company with a great reputation
Monitor daily operations pertaining to inbound and outbound logistics as well as identify improvement opportunities. Learnt a lot about leadership. Enjoy working with people - have a great team. Most challenging is to balance all operations pertaining to other departments.

Learning
I love my job very much, every Wednesday we do stock takes whereby the stock controllers have to count stock and give it to me so I can capture. we have a very good relationship because I tell them what I want to be done and they deliver. I have learnt many things like, invoicing, Backflushing, variance report, dispatching and transferring of stock. every job has a challenge, the challenge that I have is when the stock does not balance whereby I have to go inside the factory to investigate and count the stock.
