Excellent working experience

Rhodes food group is a very big and well known company. as a lab technician at Rhodes I have learnt a lot since it deals mostly with food and testing of water. I did analytical chemistry but it is also helping me to learn more about microbiological part because we don't only test for the chemistry/ chemical part but also the micro organisms. the working condition is great and I have a very good socializing skills.

Pros: makes me think and it opens my eyes to want to learn more

Good

I am a very hard working father of thee , that can adapt to any enviroment quickly, I can work in a team and independantly. Decision making and working under presure can be seen as only one of my good qualities.

Great career growth opportunity

Current job is fast based quick decision reliant role. Constantly challenging and required rapid adaptation. Current profile is large, I an responsible for 9 production sites. 1 slip up can result in a production line standing still which can cost the company a lot of money.

Pros: Great exposure, accountability and responsibility. Working closely with executive management and flexibility of decision making.
Cons: Little room for doubt and error. Each error costs money

Relationship with co workers

Working with different people can be challenging sometimes but it needs dedication and an open minded person. Pressure is something we normalise in engineering because unexpected things happen. Good relationship with co workers makes some of typical days to seem light. I learnt to work smart and to approach every challenge with passion.

Excellent learning camp and training

I learn a lot working with different kinds of people and patience .I enjoy working with people who understands the work that we do and communicate very well.our relationship was 100% with them.the challenging part of work to give orders to people who does not what to do who does know their work.

Can do attitude

I have been exposed to retail and fmcg for most of my career, I would just like to put emphasis on, nothing is out of reach or impossible. I live for challenge and like to go the extra mile even the unknown. I will surely being my skills and quality of work to your business and looking forward to broaden my horizons. My learning curve was when I did a report with Glencore Mine-Design of mechanical screen.

An entry level Mechanical Technician who possesses Mechanical Engineering National Diploma, Basic and Advance training Mechanical Fitter and Turner from Collier Training Centre.

Excellent learning curve

Growth in the Production department is growing. I was in the dairy department for more than 10 yrs and now being in the Heat exchanger food processes environment brings more exciting opportunities to increase my experience in the field
