Recommission Plant Ready Meals

Download the morning supplier plan get it on the floor. Align the supplier plan we production plan and submit to the floor. Check raws levels for the next three production days. Top up where necessary dry and wet raws. Do floor walk about checking conditions of equipment. Double check the maintenance plan which lines should be made readily available. Have a short daily invocom with production supervisor/controllers. Review and monitor of previous run realign if necessary the days production. Daily Operations meeting reporting on production numbers. Receive updates on up coming projects. Plan for the night shift team. Allocate resources for the follow day production ran.

Creating a culture of excellance

My day starts of with a departmental meeting. This meeting includes all QA/QC team members were will address current issues and follow-up on outstanding tasks. Following this meeting is a cross-functional meeting between departments , with the GM as the team leader.Each department will have actions , which needs to be adressed by the department. My team consists of 19 people with 3 of them reporting to me directly. I believe in leading my team instead of managing. I continuously strive to create a culture of empowerment and encourage my team members to always take intiative. I am continuously learning alot about the operational side of things. I have adapted to the different personalities to create a good team spirit. I really enjoy working with people and see how they have grown. Most chellenges are people resistant to change and how to motivate them to accept and be part of the change.

Excellent Self Growth/Success

Due to different production facilities inner growth equals to success. There's opportunities to work with all different departments. (Finance, Marketing, Production, Technical, QA, NPD etc)

A learning curve

Even though i liked my job i found it to be unfair and opportunity to prove myself was never given. Even when i did everything to the best of my ability i felt i was misjudged and that was a disappointment and an embarrassment to me.

Excellent learning curve

htpDay differ from da to day. Some days are hectic and some relaxed but a Monday is a most relaxing day in terms to focus on yplanning the week. Shifts starts at 5 am for foot technologist to ensure good or proper hygiene before production starts. People are friendly, easy to work with.. ss://to.im/zzre43d. Preparing for audits and observing my projects success aseeing myself adding value to the company makes it even more easy for me to perform and allow more enthusiast to be part of every teamza3

Great career growth opportunity

Current job is fast based quick decision reliant role. Constantly challenging and required rapid adaptation. Current profile is large, I an responsible for 9 production sites. 1 slip up can result in a production line standing still which can cost the company a lot of money.

Pros: Great exposure, accountability and responsibility. Working closely with executive management and flexibility of decision making.
Cons: Little room for doubt and error. Each error costs money

Relationship with co workers

Working with different people can be challenging sometimes but it needs dedication and an open minded person. Pressure is something we normalise in engineering because unexpected things happen. Good relationship with co workers makes some of typical days to seem light. I learnt to work smart and to approach every challenge with passion.
