Opportunities and growth

Assisting the Instructor with the daily presentation of the energy management and the connection of 3 phase metter to the collection of data. To determine the consumption of electrical energy. The training program is divided i two which is P1 and p2. This group have two manager of for p1 and other for P2 both they report to the the programmer manager, who is reporting to the executives. The weekly meetings, was the great platform for all the Instructors and assistant to interact, this felt like a family to me. I have leant both Technical and soft skills. Technical is connection of the electrical panel and effective communication through telephonic, email and verbal.

Pros: Great opportunities

Multidisciplinary Dream

Requires a multidisciplinary person. Most of the people are excellent collaborators. I have develoed technical and business skills. I enjoy having to do solutions architecture, analysis, financial projections, process optimisation, a bit of actuarial work and business development all in a day's work. As any business analyst would say, it's breaking the resistance to change in peoples' minds that is the trick of the trade.

Pros: Development opportunities
Cons: Low remuneration compared to added value

Pros: Flexible work schedule

Learning experience

A typical day involves designing products requested by the clients before they are sent for prototype manufacturing. The relationship with my co-workers is a beneficial one were everyone benefits from the other through advice, teaching and discussions. I have learnt how to use solidworks at a much higher level as challenges such as coming up with solutions and different ideas rose.

Pros: Good opportunity to get into industry
Cons: Not enough exposure

The skills training program is exciting.

The skills training program was exciting we were learning how to weld, how tou use milling and lathe machines and also cnc machines. A typical work day would be like in the morning we have a small meeting where we get briefing and do safe work procedures and risk assessments then work starts for everyone depending on which workshop you currently at eg. Boiler making. then 12 pm lunch after 45 minutes we are back to work then 3.30pm we knock off. The environment is good but some of the management people are bad.

Pros: Great industrial training
Cons: Bad management
