My name is Nhlakanipho Wiseman Comfort Thela, I studied at the Durban University Of Technology for Eng: Computer Systems. I have completed my S4, I'm looking for In-service training so that I can graduate and I have checked the company it's got the best experience staff and I need that experience to conquer the world. I manage the companies whole safety management system, implementation and day to day operations
Every workday is different and challenging especially with all our different training departments -Carpentry, Fitting & Turning, Electrical, Automation, Electronics, Boilermaking, Maintenance & Plumbing. I get along with all my co workers except for the fact they see me and my jnr safety officer as “traffic cops”. I have learnt a lot with my time at the company especially now over the last year with this Covid virus through NIOH, DEL, and Covid councils. With that said since the start of the covid and the number of employees we have we have not had one single case of covid in the workplace. The things I enjoyed most was been able to interact with the instructors and the students been able to give one on one training to some of the students who took a liking to safety and wanted to know more and empower themselves. The most challenging part of the job is running / managing the safety day to day operations for all 4 branches with just myself and my jnr safety officer.

Excellent working space, very hands on , great supervisors
-a typical day involves research and reading of a particular topic with the planning of the laboratory work to be done. the relationship with the co-workers is excellent and i learn alot from each of them. i have learned about how company consulting are done, using a software reactor and further report writing skills. I enjoy the planning of assignments and the group discussion meetings when presenting our outcomes for the week and progress. The challenge is learning to work with the new equipment i am exposed to but its is really good learning and eye opening.

PCB design (Proteus & KiCad), IPC 610 standards, Pick & Place Machine. ? Soldering & De-soldering of through holes & surface mount components. ? Bi-PAP Ventilator Project (Arduino based Project). ? Performing of PCB manufacturing and assembly for quality standards and ISO standards.

Good way of learning about my career
Waking up walking to work make one realize time management is important. A good relationship with all the workers make you a well known person and in some meeting you can be ask to take a leadership. I have up-skilled my self on how to work with people and to talk with them in an understandable way. The most enjoyable moment is when I am given a task or project after I completed is that time I've to present it because I know I strive to make my job look good as possible. The most challenging aspects of the job is when you are leader and some worker likely to refuse to do a certain job so sometimes it leads one to be after that person all the time keep an eye on him.

Good learning curve
I get very well with my colleagues and supervisors. I have learnt that in order for one to learn they need to be willing. I enjoy interacting with my interns coming with different approaches 5o a certain job. The most challenge is that sometimes my interns are not on the same wave length that's where I need to be patient with them.

I am currently an intern at Resolution for a period of 6 months.
Resolution Circle is a training center which assist students from different Universities with practicals in order for them to graduate and become qualified Technicians. At resolution Circle we are hands on than in Varsity,we have instructors which are teaching us work. We are dealing with electrical heavy machines, electronics and Automation
