Excellent learning curve

A typical work day can start for me anytime from 2am in the morning. I managed the door to door delivery for newspaper and magazine deliveries. I also managed the local community newspapers delivery and pamphlet delivery on daily basis. I managed our route owners who does the magazine deliveries on a Friday and Monday to all the retailers. I managed in total -+ 120 contractors and 10 staff members in total on daily basis. I believe in open and honesty from my team. I believe in team work and being flexible. If believe in leading and taking ownership. The most challenging aspects of the is that my days are never the same each day. Different challenges every day.

Expirienced non manager

 Responsible for the packing and picking teams within the Distribution Centre workforce planning.  Ensuring that accuracy and production targets or SLAs are met  Responsible for stock management and administration of Orders  Ensuring that orders prepared by processing requests and supply orders  Working with cross-functional teams ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders in time.  Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed  Maintaining team focus on the business objectives in order to drive success.  Identifying and resolve issues and conflicts within and between various operational teams and team members within span of control  Ensuring that there are sufficient levels of consumables including pallet wrap, paper, cartridges, etc. maintaining continuous operations within the warehouse.  Identify obstacles that would hamper achieving the respective client's SLA's, this could be caused by inbound or the service provider 

Great learning experience

Great working for them as I am managing two areas in terms of delivering media products, reconciliation of invoices and collection of money from cash paying customers..I love the open road as we travel a lot to make this deliveries. They taught me responsibility

Pros: Work three days a week
Cons: You get what you worked for mean few days a month

Learning Experience

Pros: I had an excellent professional relationship with my co workers which was quite nice with company environment
Cons: People assisted each other so we were time driven

I like the fact that we get paid per units you've picked, so you're forced to push yourself.

I studied Electrical Engineering (N2 to N5) at Lephalale Tvet College and I've been a general worker for 9 months at Seleka Electrical & Construction, where we were doing house wiring, installation (air condition, geysers, gate motors, LEDs, prepaid meter etc.) and maintenance. Before this job i trained Electrical semi-skills At Lephalale Tvet College for 3 months. We practically learned the following. • Design & construct a single phase circuit • Identify, inspection, use, maintain & care of Engineering hand tools • Install, join, and terminate low voltage cables/conductors • Fault find, test, repair domestic appliances • Select, use & care for power tools In 2019 I was working at Amrod Cooperate (clothing and branding) warehouse based at Woodmead for warehouse picking position. Currently I work at On The Dot as a picker and sometimes assist with put away I am also Microsoft/computer literate. I did Computers Application Technology in high school for 3 years (from grade 10 to grade 12).

Pros: Great work for fitness
Cons: we get paid per units, if there are no task you not rating

I have work 6 years by on the dot and i work as a picker and packer and checker

I am very reliable person and always at time by my work very honest also.for six years i work as a general worker .my job was to pick and pack to check if the stuff was right that i pack.i did enjoy my work very much .but for some reason the company did close

ABSOLUTELY DRIVEN AND PASSIONATE

i am a very friendly individual, open minded, multicultural and multilingual, i work very well with people around me. i do have so much leadership skills such team leading and exploring new things everyday of course working with people, i am not self centered kind of a human being.. i love doing a job that will always challenge me and require me think most of the time.

Pros: absolutely less chances of seeing myself getting a promotion anytime soon, not as oriented as i wish i could or thought it would be.
Cons: i have learnt a little although i have been here for quite sometime now a yet and working so much hours including weekends, self empowerment is slightly impossible unless i push myself too hard which might cause conflict but i am enjoying a little bit so far.

Fast learner

i have experience in pastel , word 2003 , excel, Microsoft office,processing orders, quality control, transferring the stock into a right place, adjustment , switchboard and outlook

Pros: working harder is the one who pays
