It's great working the because u learn lot of cultures deal with people all the time I learnt alote there since It was my first job And I enjoy my stay there it was fun at times But difficult somtimes

I'm working as a sales consultant who is getting paid basic of 3200

I'm working as a sales consultant who is getting basic of 3200, and my monthly target is 140000 and commission is 2000 so my average gross is 5000 we work 2 Sundays in and 2 Sundays out. We get one day off during the month, on Sunday we work overtime of R120 and on holidays we work overtime of R140.

Pros: it's an opportunity for me as this is my first job
Cons: long working hours on Saturday from 8 to 3

Good day madam/ Sir it's my pleasure to write to your company about myself I'm currently Unisa student Who is currently doing Bcompt of financial accounting and is my pleasure to tell you that I am student and also I am bread winner at home who works hard for both university of South Africa ( Unisa) and OK furniture shop, at OK furniture shop I love my work as general assistant who learns many more at the same time I'm assisting customers ( work as sales person), I receiving stock ( work as stock clerk), calling supply if we're short of stock, calling customer to come to collect his stock, off load truck stock from our were house and it many more, is very make me so quickly learn and also at Unisa I am final student Who left with 5 modules to complete my Bcompt of financial accounting to be accounted and and continue to be chartered accountant of South Africa.

Excellent job skill from ok furniture

I have learned many things so far at ok, because i just dont do what i have been hired for, i help with receing and dispatching storck, customer service and i can also do imcome statement monthly which of is my manager's duty ,i know that because i am willing to multiskill. We work as a team at work, solving problems all the time, i remember being a cashier, manager and supervisor same time and i had to do all the duties, one customer complained why one person had to do that alone she is late at work,she can not wait more, i tried to calm the customer explained that all those people to assist just got new jobs and resigned ,so the cimpany still looking for suitable candidates, and she understood.

Ok Furniture

Ok furnitureWhen I first started working at that branch I wondered why was there so much damaged stock and I later learned that the manager will in most cases just instruct the potter and the driver to take out some stock from the display and take it to the storeroom and replace it with a new item. If there was new stock that just arrived from the suppliers, she will take out the stock that she didn’t like from the display to the storeroom and replace it with that new item that she liked. The store room is very small and the stock that is not in the original packaging gets damaged in there. The other damage is caused by the stock that was being borrowed to the customers.

Excellent

I was very happy I have learned so much from my bosses and colleagues I was enjoying a team work I was a hard working person, always helping other where they needed some help I was working long hours and was used to it I like challenges because they make me eager to learn more everyday

I have learned a lot with ok furniture

I can manage the branch, making sure that the stock I am receiving or dispetching is correct. I also attend difficult customer complaints, do follow ups on customer complaints. I do supplier orders with different supliers and order stock from other branches and warehouse.

Pros: I have been offered an opprtunity to a branch manager but refuse due to salary they were going to give me as a branch manager.
Cons: 8:00 to 17:00 during the week and 8:00 to 13:00, 9:00 to 13:00 on holidays and sundays.

No growth

We also get commission, but on promotional items we get zero commission on some of the items. We only get our commission soon as I've reach the company Bearer of R84000 as an individual.

Pros: Not a healthy environment

•Good relationship with other employees, learned to make good business with suppliers, handling difficulties and preasure and to respect my work.most challenging part was dealing with difficult clints/customers especially when drunk.working with together as team and fulling companies goals I enjoyed most

Pros: Being 3rd management in charge
Cons: Issue of lies,disrespecting once position troubles
