Excellent working

Working at OK FURNITURE is like one of the path to my career,,before i work at OK FURNITURE i was a hairdresser,,,my stuff at OK FURNITURE are very kind and carrying we have a good communication,, i have learn alot of things which have matured me as my background is not good,,timing,,saving,,are one of the things that i have learnt,,,,what i enjoy the most is that my OK FURNITURE is a strict company but it has a way of not slaving the workers,,,,,the most challenging aspect of the job is that I'm not satisfied with the salary

Excellent learning experience

Working for Ok Furniture has been a great learning opportunity for me as it taught me a lot of things regarding customer service. We worked as a team and tried by all means to push each other upso that we all reach our targets. I have a very good relationship with my co workers and we enjoy working with each other. One thing i enjoyed the most was the stocktaking part of the it as it allows you to see a different, good side about the other workers it would fun and really enjoyable. The most challenging part was when it was the most difficult months of the year ie. January and it would be difficult to make targets as required but we would pull through.

Pros: Slight opportunity for promotion
Cons: Working on Sundays sometimes

Computer skills

RECEPTION, TELEPHONE ETIQUETTE, DATA CAPTURING, FILLING,OUTLOOK,MS WORD,POWER POINT,EXCEL,TYPING, THAT'S THE MOST JOB WHICH I WAS ENJOYING AND I WAS HAVING A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH MY CO-WORKERS AFTER OUR SHOP CLOSED DUE LACK OF CUSTOMERS, OK FURNITURE IS A BIG COMPANY THAT WORK WITH TARGET. I'VE LEARN LOTS OF THINGS REGARDING CUSTOMER SERVICE, TELEPHONE ETIQUETTE, ADMIN WORK

Good communications

I have gained enough experience in retail so I need to escalate it to the best and learn more in a different industry.Evryone at work adores my work including our regional manager .From Till operator to the stockroom control then now a sttock clerk it shows that I have potential in what I am doing,and I don't need a manager or any one in a top management to tell me what to do I am my own boss.Talking to supplies is not have been easy but because of work you need to do it so you can certify everyone on top .I also came up with a way to minimise shrinkage in the store so we all be safe from some of our staff members and thief.

Pros: learning is power if you have brains
Cons: there is always over time

No growth opportunity

I work with suppliers, orering stock and ensuring it gets delivered. I have been unable to grow my work experience in the past 2 years and feel I am not challenged anymore

Good

Its not that bad,because i gained lot of experience,we get paid on overtime duties.the company negotiate with their employees before doing some changes,if a customer complains in the company we do listen and put ourselves in her/his shoes then we try to explain and apologies as we have been trained by the company.the employees respect each other.the company also taught me how to answee the phone properly as i work on switch board,the slogan must be heard that is the rule

Great admin experience, fast learner, very friendly

A typical day would be like me starting with my banking and updating my documents,,,submitting documents to H/O, if needed,,, than for thw res of the day i will be submitting application to our H/O. I enjoy my work very much and have learned that even thought i have been so long in this position, i still learn somethin new everyday.. It can became challenging when getting assistance from other staff members as they are not so clued up with my duties

Pros: Gained a lot of managerial experience
Cons: Long hours and no overtime paid out,,,stressful environment

Willing to learn and work

I work from 8 to 17.30 and i enjoy being committed to my job. My relationship with my co workers is very great we get along so fine. I have learnt that not beats working as one if we work together the company will function on point. I have not met any challenges yet in my time here.

Moderate level in communication

I have joined the company in 2017 January I can say I am done with training and development I am now at a level where I can handle my work on my own without supervision

Good learning curve

I have learnt a lot at OK Furniture but now I need growth. I work long hours and get paid little money. my work load isn't worth the salary I receive.
