Good learning curve

I have learnt a lot at OK Furniture but now I need growth. I work long hours and get paid little money. my work load isn't worth the salary I receive.

RECEPTION, TELEPHONE ETIQUETTE, DATA CAPTURING, FILLING,OUTLOOK,MS WORD,POWER POINT,EXCEL,TYPING, THAT'S THE MOST JOB WHICH I WAS ENJOYING AND I WAS HAVING A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH MY CO-WORKERS AFTER OUR SHOP CLOSED DUE LACK OF CUSTOMERS, OK FURNITURE IS A BIG COMPANY THAT WORK WITH TARGET. The workload is huge, responsibilties are tremendous

Pay is low, working hours are not good. Not a nice company to work for. Regional management does not really assist in branch level. They just want results. Too much pressure and responsibilty for the little money we are getting paid. When the CEO earns over 100 million a year. This branch does not employ a cleaner, to save costs staff are required to clean the floor and assist customers which is unreasonable and unfair. The is a busy branch with a million rand per month turnover, while being shortstaffed. When you complain about that, your employment contract is thrown in your face. "You agreed in your contract to do any job as instructed or be fired".

Pros: Salary, better than nothing
Cons: Little pay,huge work load

Work expireince

working at ok furniture is like working at major business,you must consider the customer needs and wants and work from the customer budget and my relationship with my colleagues was like family and freinds we spent most of my time with them and they are loving and carin and not forgetting trust thats the only thin that make the relationship stronger.i have leanrt a lot frm the company starting wth customer servise

Excellent learning curve

The company has been a helpfull lecture to me as I have learned to work under pressure and with different people and also how to put work related issues aside from personal, also how to be passionate nd lov my job.

Earning much better than earning zero

My job description is well organised allows me a full picture ofmy responsibilities. A have team based staff who believe in coherence .a challenge is negative thinkers people who don't believed in change and growth comes through hardworking.people who don't believe in fun through everything you do.as customer service is my day to day job, is very interesting to see people enjoy their day in shopping and me bringing that smile on their faces

Sales consultants

Oh furniture is a big company working here is very demanding it need focus , resilience, dedication to survive here but it's a nice working environment with good trained staff

Pros: working here is good the company give nice benefits
Cons: Working for retail is very demanding retail hour are abnormal working on Sundays and public holidays most your time is spent at work and salary is not good
