Excellent Learning Curve

My current job is very exciting and learning curve preparing me for a job that is more challenging. I have a very exciting and good relationship with both my co-workers and subordinates. When I started here, I had no clue as far as Internal Communications was about. I have learnt a lot with that regard, hence I am proud to say I am very good with event management, article writing and supervising. I enjoy most to write articles and to supervise my subordinates which I share same office with. At the moment the most challenging aspect of my job is managing the content of our intranet, which I also regard as exciting, challenging and a new learning curve.

Pros: Though I don't have any legal qualifications, I now can give advices on legals aspects such as Domestic Violence, Maintenance, etc. The community outreach events are most exciting.
Cons: Chances of promotion are very limited in the business unit that I work for.

I attended a lot of inhouse training

I enjoy working for npa all the years and the enviroment is good. the whole day am busy because i manage vehicles, a pool of vehicles on a dayly basis i go out and inspect the vehicles and issue them to officials who want to utilise them. At times it becomes difficult to deal with officials because at times when they have scrach the vehicle or damaged something in the vehicle they dont report. you have to follow them around for statements concerning the incidents. i enjoy working in an enviroment whereby we work as a team and sharing ideas. The most challenging aspects is when the officials dont write the mileages on the log sheet and month end it becomes a problem.

Pros: Goverment institution they have a tight budget no money to fund promotions
Cons: At times i leave my office late because of the late bookings

Excellent litigation skills

dealing with litigation daily and engaging with the general public. drafting legal documents and ensuring team work prevails. prosecuting different offences under different statutes. also ensuring the general running of the court by assisting colleagues in court. i work independently with little or no guidance and i do my job without fear favour or prejudice. im also an admitted attorney with an LLB degree. i enjoy mostly being in court as wrll as offering legal advise and arguing on point of law with the opposition. i especially enjoy doing legal research. working as a team is very important especially in ensuring service delivery. the most changing aspects is ensuring that u prosecute a matter successfully as the onus is on me to prove the guilt of an accused.

Pros: great opportunity for promotion
Cons: not a great pay. more deductions less increases

Excellent learning curve for long-term career goals

My typical work day : 1. Check email to see if there is any service requests that came through email 2. Logging on to ITSM system to check calls logged and their statuses. 3. Liaising with service provider representatives to ensure that calls are attended and resolved with SLA metrics & how to improve. 4. Making follow-ups for issues that should be reported on at various meetings that I attend to ensure issues are attended to timeously. I enjoy working with people and helping them with whatever they are complaining about. I liaise with my colleagues regularly to ensure that user issues are attended to. The most challenging part of my job is that it teaches you to take control of your emotions because users come with all sorts of emotions and if you are not careful, you may lose sight of the issue at hand. Therefore, over time you learn to be emotionally mature and focus on the issue to be dealt with

Pros: Learning curve in different environment
Cons: Possibly moving to new area

Exellent leaning curve

It's always a great day at work especially when new challenges arise. i have a great relationship with my co-workers i have learnt the whole process of leave administration from leave registering, auditing, capturing of leave on persal etc. how to do PDMS and pay progression, where we calculate notches etc. the process i enjoy the most is the leave processing. challenges it was when i had to work for two sections, HR & finance section, where i would divide a day in to two in the morning it's HR, in the afternoon it's finance, but now i have turned that into greatest opportunity, because i can cope working under pressure, and produce error free work.

Pros: Great opportunity to get a permanent post
Cons: long hours of working
