Good learning experience

I work from 08:00 to 16:00. I attend to different customer queries, telephonic and email queries. My relationship with my colleagues is very good. I have learned to deal with difficult customers.

Good company, lots of learning opportunities, but growth and management is old

Training department creates lot's of opportunities for further learning, boggest financial institution in South Africa administering 3 funds for those in the Metal and Engineering industry. Management is a little old and striggle to adapt to new technology, the basics. But overall a good company.

Excellent learning curve

Am currently working as fund accountant at MIBFA,responsible for payment to creditors from invoicing till trial balance using ACCPAC accounting system.Making reconcilliation on all relevant account monthly,prepaparing management report and journals.

Pros: growth
Cons: Change of place as i stay in pretoria

Biggest mistake I did

Mibfa is not a family kind oriented company, employees are treated like just numbers that make money for the business. There's struck a cellphone policies and it was hard for me as my partner was pregnant and I couldn't be available everytime the were complications.

Did learn a lot

It is very stressful, a lot of work to do, have to put in overtime and still don't reach targets. The managers and supervisors they are bad news, they don't care about teamwork they force you to work overtime, and no tolerance for being sick

Excellent growth

Each day is a challenge as each claim is different and it gives a pleasure when at the end of the day you get a satisfied member. Working as a team and individually is always a learning curve.

Learning curve

I have learnt a lot from the company And I want to learn more somewhere I feel my time to learn more has arrived and I'm not finding more things to learn from this company hence I want a better opportunity for myself this is because I want to grow myself The positions I want have been filled employees from this company they don't move from position to position people have been doing the same job for years and I fee my 5 from the company is enough I want to learn new things

Cons: No time to socialize
