Excellent learning curve to develop and grow
Everyday is a busy day as payments go twice in a week and account reconciliation is required. I would assess claims for payment, request confirmations from bank, employer, broker, client and deed search request. Calculate value due for payment of pension or provident fund. Draft Sec 14 documents of the Pension Fund Act as per FSCA request to be submitted in due time. Request tax directives (Irp3) from SARS online and add payments due on the cashbook. Reconcile pension and provident accounts. Request Tax certificates from our Tax department and EFT proof of payment. send out proof of payment with payment letters and tax certificates to clients. Attend to any related queries within a certain time frame for each, different request. I enjoy working in a team and I have learned a lot in developing my skills. The most challenging aspect is when third parties like SARS cannot deliver within a time frame due to IT systems which then means delayed services to our clients.

Good learning curve
Great treatment of employees.great benefit and staff is trained. They take care of their employees. Provide support where necessary and when needed. Training is provides even for personal things like financial management. Internal customer service is great as well and management engages with staff now and then.I would recommend for others to work at this company as well

It has been a great experience to me
When I came to Mibfa I was a tea attendant in a contract for 6 months, I was happy to have an opportunity to work on a day shift job as I have been in shifts from my previous jobs. I became a tea attendent for 6 months, then on January I was given a chance to apply for an internal position of an Administration clerk, due to my good service, record and dedication. I went for assessment for Microsoft Word, Excel, Mathematics, English and typing speed. Results came back excellent and I was called for an interview which I also did excellent on it. I have been working as an Administration clerk for 10 months now, basically I scan and Index documents received, send emails, do all office requirements, capture information on Excel spreadsheet and take calls every now and then. I am well known for my hard work and for going an extra mile helping other team members to complete their stats. I have good communication skills and I am grateful for this opportunity because it made it possible for me to pay for my fees.

Cons: Very Strict and that I am on contract which can end anytime.

Customer service clerk Submission: Taking in of all relevant documents pertaining to Applications for surplus. Making sure all documents are correct. (Oculus and CRM: company systems)Handing in stats on different documents taken in for the day.
Pros: Colleagues are helpful
Cons: management`s take on hygiene and health concerns takes way too long to be seen too. which leads to employees being ill all the time, which leads to dismissal for absenteesim

Great first-time job
The company offers opportunities to learn on the job and get the essential training that is needed in most office environments. There is a high demand for accuracy at a high speed as there are always strict deadlines. Employees who fail to meet the deadline might face disciplinary action for poor work performance, so it's a very nerve-wracking environment where everyone is always stressed about meeting their deadlines as accurately as possible. At times it might seem like there is no room for growth because the chances of being promoted are slim to none.
Pros: Good opportunity to acquire new skills
Cons: Harsh employment conditions and low job security

Good place to start career
good place to learn If you have not been exposed to other companies good relationship among staff typical day if filled with lots of work and constantly reminding you of your stats learned that for a company or query to be resolved you need to be patient and liaise with other departments as they interlink

First work experience
I am a hard working lady. I love learning new things and love working with numbers. I love doing something that will require me to think. I work well with clients because i talk to members every working day I have learnt and still learning a lot in my current position as it is my first job experience. I am a team player and can also work well individually. As i am currently working i need to serve notice in 30 days. My career goal is having a Bcom Accounting degree.
Pros: Being my first job experience. I have learnt a lot. Its benefits are the best.

Excellent learning experience
Administration I am a person with knowledge of the employee benefits: someone that can deal with member’s in all departments and advises on retirements, withdrawals, pensions and provident funds, permanent disabilities and monthly pensioners.
