Great experience, excellent learning curve and growing opportunity

Working in a neonatal unit where it gets busy at times, where we get to work underpressue. Having a god team won my side a group that is willing to learn every day. We face challenges and learning oppohave learnt a lot from the company and the stuff that I work with I can't start to name them one by one. But most importantly is punctuality, good personality and comthe most challenging part of my job is where we baby dymunication skills. rtunities in a positivedying with nothing to do.way.

Am a dedocated person. I love what i do wjen i work i hive my all .and i believe panctuality is the key to everything i meet my targets.and complements are my daily bread

Working in a busy environment o know different people is what I enjoy most.

Focus on the company profit rather than happy employees and different culture causes employees to feel unhappy and not worthy. The benefits of the company are good and client service meets all expectations

Diagnosis

My challenging usually day is multi tasking as we have different surgeons from neurological to orthopedic including medical to obstratic .Above all that we a short staff less permanent staff.All I enjoy at my work line it’s quality care I give at the end of the day

Working for Medi -Clinic

lots of clients therefore lots of accounts,working under pressure but working as a team ensures work gets done smoothly and payments are collected timeously,if not payment arrangement are accepted withing agreeable terms and if handover ought to be done handover documentation prepared accordingly. working with my team we always strive to minimize the debtors day by ensuring all correctly approved prior submission to medical aids. the challenge is often where clients under impression since they have medical aid all ought to be paid by funder even exclusions but i always explain and enjoy it when my clients are satisfied with the thorough explanation then pay to ensure no future issues if readmission required.meeting my monthly targets is the be st feeling where my job concerned and we always celebrate as a team in my department for the achievement.

Have opportuninies to self development by aquiring skills like advance neonatal course

I am currently a travel nurse visiting patients at home working independently , inserting intraveous lines, infusion IV medications doing wound care and dressing measuring vital data and recording them on solumed stock ordering ,stock counting and cost containment reporting to Discovery home care manager I have learned different types of dressings and mastering skills in intravenous line insertion enjoying to work with patient one on one.and travelling , also work well,with team.

Pros: Being given a chance to aquire skills
Cons: Holidays treated as a normal day

My job review

on a day to day its busy from start to finish from am to pm we deal with patients who are ill,uncertain ,scared ,alone. we do our best to assure patients that everything will be OK. my co -workers and i work well together ,we assist each other ,we stand in for one another and always help correct one another when mistakes are made i have learnt that in this big world we always need people ,to help us grow to help us to help us get through certain things ,and acknowledge when we make mistakes i enjoy the fact that assisting patients with a smile and enjoying your job you actually make a difference to how they feel they emotional state and make the journey much easier . dealing with sick patients and there is no beds available. only challenging thing right now

Best for individuals who have recently graduated

Call centre environment . Mostly young colleagues. Flexibility when not working shifts. No real growth opportunities.. Colleagues friendly and inclusive
