It was the biggest challenging opportunity
The 3 years I have been with Masscash I have learnt a lot, have been promoted 3 times with in that year, I have learnt to work well under pressure, my manger when I start at the company was very encouraging me to better myself. I have a great relationship with my colleagues and with client.

I have 16 years of creditors experience, last position being Assistant supervisor @ Masscash accounts payable dept.My years of experience in the financial sector will be an asset to any company. I am loyal and one who does not abuse company privilege. I am able to complete tasks timeously & efficiently. Am very deadline driven, one who ensures excellence is attained in every given situation. I am mature and confident in my abilities and am willing to go the extra mile.

It a great company to work for.
working for masscash you get to learn new thing,since the company was bought by massmart new technologies and design have been implemented to the company, which means for us we get to face new challenges and learn how to solve new IT related problems, we get to travel a lot and spend a week away from home and working as a team it what makes our work much easier, because we help one another.

Cons: long working hour's only if we travel

Excellent company for growth
Day consists of 360 degree stakeholder engagement. Market & competitor reviews. Product and pricing strategy reviews. Market is u stable and price sensitive therefore need to be astutely aware of dynamic ever changing environment. Masscash Cash & Carry business has provided me with a window into the FMCG economy within the informal sector. This combined with PnP provided me with a complete experience into FMCG from LSM 1-11.

Excellent learning curve
I have a great relationship with my co workers we are a very strong team. I have been with the company for 2 months only, so far I have improved my communications skills so much. Everyday I have to phone the Stores and tell them to capture invoices if it is not captured or reverse it if the stock was cancelled, overall that has improved my communications skills. The challenges I face is when the stores denying of receiving the stock from the Distribution Center then I have to do an investigation to check what really happened.

Challenging environment. Regulated with compliance and target driven.
Drafting of contracts, meetings, training, being trained, regulatory and compliance, working with reports and creating reports. I have a good relationship with my support staff and co-workers. I have learnt about working in a corporate environment. The most challenging part of my job is to prepare reports and to deal with urgent matters due to the department that I am in.

Great opportunity to learn and engage with customer directly to resolve account discrepencies
on a normal day I allocate payments from the previous bank statement, cash clear the payments according to member remittances, resolve issues relating to claims and outstanding invoice the member requested pod for. I have learnt to be patient especially when your feedback and resolution of the query depend on another person. and mostly enjoyed member visits- always good to be out of office and engage with customers directly and understand their nature of business

Excellent customer interaction and learning curves of the fast paced demanding FMCG environment
Extremely demanding and fast, with attention to detail and deliveries to customer very important. Build and maintain existing relationships and continuously fight the competition to alaways come out ontop. Everyday is a new challenge and has new adventures and learning in every day. Food safety and hygiene being a huge factor focus point and compliance a non negotiable.
Pros: Busy environment and Great working environment support structure is excellent.
Cons: Long hours salery low for amount of work.

Excellent learning curve
Work everyday, coworkers always willing to work, learning everyday. There is noway that you may be facing the same challenge everyday unless you have not attended it, its always a new challenge at Masscash logistics. My manager likes to put you into deep end and you have to find your way out. He is there if you need support though. I enjoy the fact that its not the same job everyday. You always have something new to do. There are no rooms for mistakes here. You make one mistake the whole company suffers financially. this makes this job very challenging

Ambassadorship
The job satisfaction of being trusted to lead a colaborative, diverse group of individuals, that achieve sucesfull results and act as true ambasadors for the company, is the highlight of any leader. Through true ambassadorship and trust, our customers show loyalty and foster life long relationships as business partners and freinds. One of the biggest challenges is, motivating a team that spend on average 4 nights away from there family’s and requires regular positive influence and leadership. The only way to succeed in this environment, is to be a true ambassador oneself and lead by example, therefore traveling continuously and living by time management, to still achieve the normal job requirements.
Pros: Freedom to run ones own business within a corporate culture.
Cons: Mostly away from home.
