Hi I am very interested in this position, please see below a brief description of my experience. I am currently a Digital Marketing Coordinator at Massbuild and I was a Digital Content Administrator at Momentum and I was also a Webmaster at Nedbank. I have about 6 years experience in web, digital, online operations and applications. I have lots of experience in working with different content management systems (CMS). I recently finishing of a short course certificate with Goldsmith in Digital Marketing and I've also done an Internet Marketing course with UCT. Difficult dynamic

Good learning curve Learned alot of skills on the job Growth opportunities Not much by way of support for duties or from management Impersonal approach towards employees Little communication regarding changes in structure or process Lenghty customer unfriendly processes

Working under prassure

I started as a General assistant at the site when it was opened in 2015 and i was promoted as a loader because of enthusiasim , drive , focus & hardwork i have at at that time for which i have more at this time , from then i was promoted again into dispatch clerk in 2017 since then i learned how to organaise the outbound department by telling my coligues the importance of contributing and commitment into what we love and thats our job , I learned that working with different people in different pressurising situations can make me a better person in future because its important to meet the company demand and at the sametime to deliver the best customer service in order for a bussiness to Grow,im currently studing The Production Management Certificate at Intec Part time Im willing to grow & learn everyday to everyone

The most important thing that I've learn with mass build its customers service team work and sap ewm time keeping also deliver on time and going extra mile to reach our daily target and turn around time

Great exposure when dealing with a volatile retail environment.

Massbuild is a chain under Massmart. Currently it is the leading chain amounts Makro, Game and Cambridge. The retail environment is an extremely volatile environment. We constantly have to fund different tactics to help us maintain our market share as well as acquire repeat purchases. Selling building material is not the easiest especially in this constrained market. I enjoy the challenge of our small brand team be the function that helps equip other departments in meeting their targets and remain the best in our industry.

Pros: Great brand endorsed by Walmart.
Cons: Growth restriction. Limited positions available in the team.

Review Of Curent Job

The Retail industry is very fast paced so what is needed is a close working relationship with team members which I have. I believe an early start to the day gives you an edge to cope with unexpected events . Because of the volumes I had to reinvent on how to input data to meet deadlines which is so crucial to payroll. I enjoy the fast pace and the challenges that each day brings.

Pros: You learn something new every day
Cons: your leave is dictataed by your payroll dates.
