Fast paced environment
Demanding high paced environment that requires high integrity and attention to detail. One deals with highly confidential client information and systems have to be available 24\7 as a result you have to be available on your phone constantly with your laptop at hand. I love the challenge provided by the ever changing and evolving technologies and the way of doing business. I love that I am part of the team that is at the helm of things. I enjoy bringing technologies and systems to life providing assistance to both the users and the technicians.
Pros: Interaction with key business stakeholders helps one understand the bigger picture and the direction the firm is taking

Excellent learning curve... Fun people to be around
I started off as an intern at KPMG in 2016, I learned more about the mining industry as I was in the audit department. I was made permanent in 2018 as a Business unit Administrator, I worked with an amazing team of HR managers who believed in my skills

Life at kpmg
I interact a lot with clients. My day to day work is to obtain audit evidence to perform my audit procedures to ensure that financial statements do not have any material misstatements. My relationship with my coworkers is quite professional. I’ve learnt a lot of leadership and coaching qualities. I enjoy working in a team. The most challenging aspect is dealing with a difficult client. Cause difficulty comes in all shapes and sizes

Pool of Skills Acquisition
Driven with end goal in mind. Planning and risk analysis before engagment. Understanding target audience on every project for better application during meetings and when communicating with the client. Mitigation planning to ensure minimum downtime and project planning to help manage timeliness and expectations especially for budget planning. All these are my capabilities on how I manage my engagements. Keen to learn and expand my avenues and expertise.

Excellent working environment
I am I am happy with my experience working at KPMG. It is a great company to work for.Sometimes we had to work long hours but this was not on a jomrmal day day. I got to apply all that I had learned from University which is the best part. I also enjoyed working with the managers. There is also an opportunity to stay on as a manager of you would like to so there is an opportunity.to grow internally.

Friendly people, good opportunities and nice clients.
Good company to work at but is basically the same as all other big 4 audit firms. Good culture, and friendly people. Starters however did not receice a lot of training and everything was on elearning makong kt very difficult to get going.

Excellent learning curve
More work less pay, if your into that sort of relationship then you will be very comfortable at KPMG SA. Very professional culture and progressive staff. Employee turnover is high however it is one of the best places to gather experience.
