Learning curve is to probe the client and conduct background checks when trying to find the truth.
1. Typical day at work is going through documents , interviewing suspects and writing reports on what i have found thus far. 2. Relationship with Co-workers: I get along with everyone in the office especially the outspoken people because i am also very social. 3. I have learnt to be always skeptical of everything i read and whatever i am told . To make sure i gather all the facts because thats what Forensics is mainly based on . We dont speculate we only report facts. 4. I enjoy the different cases we get, all our investigations are never the same , even though the methodology might be similar . 5. When the client knows that the alleged suspect is guilty of something but there is no substantial evidence of wrongdoing. You have to probe and look at the all the documents properly.
Pros: The cases vary which makes working as an Investigator non-redundant
Cons: Some of the cases require driving long distances , some places can be very violent and people can get death threats .

HR Manager
I have an excellent working relationship with Partners, AD's and all levels in the team nationally. I am trusted with extremely confidential information and manage salaries, bonus, promotions etc. My day to day is activities varies each day as I manage a number of HR matters, attend a number of meetings and drive a number of critical processes. I have built excellent relationships not just in my BU but within the firm and I am extremely organised, efficient, and action items accordingly. I always meet deadlines and I am very proactive in my role.
Pros: Flexible hours, trusted, culture is great.
Cons: Work lots of overtime, demanding and challenging role.

Strong analytical skills, reporting, Consolidations
Budget with very tight deadline line. Compiling report for month end. Variance analysis. People management. Consolidation of trial balance. Reconciling debtors, creditors and bank accounts. Great environment to work at with a very effective team. Who deliver promises and strive to meet deadlines.
Pros: Great reputable company. Encourage out of the box thinker. Thinking forward. Allows me to use my qualification and experince to the best advantage of the company

Excellent exposure to different roles and people
My typical day is filled with admin intense items, spreadsheets, action plans, process and meetings. Talking to staff on a daily bases as the HR manager. Dealing with my admin staff, developing and mentoring them. I have a good relationship with all of my staff. I have learnt various different administration roles in the job. I have also learnt how to deal with people in different circumstances. I enjoy the fact that I can work on my own and am not micro managed my directors value my input and suggestions on how to improve things within the business. Most challenging for me is to ensure I can change or assist on issues that my staff have raised.

Excellent learning curve
A typical work day involves being at the client and conducting and audit and or investigation. Reviewing documentation, conducting interviews, reviewing processes, documenting controls and risks. I have great working relationship with my co-workers, the work we do requires us to work as a team, hence it is very important to have great working relationships. I enjoy being on projects and learning about new industries.

Perfectionist
I Manage audit projects, liase with Partners and Directors (client relationship). Review of audit, Report writing. I have a very good relationship with both my co workers and client. I am currently busy with up skilling myself interms of selling the business and also compiling project plan for the company.

Great growing ground for me
KPMG is a great company that has helped me grow in my career. My typical day consists of: organising training, reconciling costs and training attended, ensuring staff attend training, also keeping office organised with Indirect Codes, desk allocations, training new joiners (induction) and organising events My co workers are helpful and we work well as a team, respecting each others space and able to get the work done. I have learnt more about training and how it all works together for the good of the company. not only the individual being trained. What I enjoy most about my job is the organising and solving problems Event planning has become the most challenging as in todays world there is so much more one has to take into consideration

Excellent working curve
My typical work day is administration duties, procuring stock, stocking and managing assets. I have a wonderful relationships with my co-workers I have learned to be more professional I enjoy the work environment. The job require more time, where you have to work weekend or during your personal time.

Fast paced environment
Demanding high paced environment that requires high integrity and attention to detail. One deals with highly confidential client information and systems have to be available 24\7 as a result you have to be available on your phone constantly with your laptop at hand. I love the challenge provided by the ever changing and evolving technologies and the way of doing business. I love that I am part of the team that is at the helm of things. I enjoy bringing technologies and systems to life providing assistance to both the users and the technicians.
Pros: Interaction with key business stakeholders helps one understand the bigger picture and the direction the firm is taking

Interesting field
The company is a large audit firm with a great work ethos and culture. I only feel that it does not advance its personnel enough nor invest. I would like to be in a organisation that rewards hard work and treats everyone fairly and accurately. I draft/review the firms legal contracts and advise internally and externally when they engage with clients and conduct ad hoc legal duties. I have learnt or taken away lot in that the financial industry is fast paced and has taught me time management and how to handle challenging situations. I enjoy the travelling part and engaging external clients at times. It can be challenging gin that we have a small legal department and we handle all aspects of a very huge firm but we somehow manage.

Cons: Lack of promotion
