A good learning environment

Its a very nice environment where everybody is always busy trying to meet targets. We are always smiling so that the customer on the other end of the call can fill that you love your job and you are willing to assist them. We always have fun with our co -workers cause we believe that our problems must be left at home. I have learned that we need to have active listen skills and fact find so you able to get more information from a customer. When you have that day when you don't meet target but its no problem at all because when do have good days, you need to excel so when the bad day come it doesn't matter because you are over your target.

Pros: Great to be employed
Cons: no growth

Progress within the company

Ipsos is a marketing research company, however we work with companies such as imperial auto and it's a good company to work for, there are a lot of opportunities and growth within the company, however despite the opportunities theres also a certain level nepotism. A typical work day is from 08:00-17:00 the work we do is actually a lot for what we get paid. My co-workers are not very enthusiastic due to the company not giving much motivation to their workers. I love working under imperial auto, it's a good company and the interaction with a lot of different clients looking for vehicles is enthralling. I've gained considerable knowledge about different vehicles and how they are marketed. Lastly the most challenging part of my job is having to explain to customers why they don't qualify to purchase certain vehicle's

Pros: It's advantageous to work for imperial auto.
Cons: Sometimes having go work from Monday to Sunday.

It fought me a lot about the industry

I have learnt a lot about customer service, I work well with other people. I enjoy the fact that wen do not work on weekends. There is not much space for growth in that company. I have leant to be patient and calm at all times when dealing with respondent's. I really enjoy working with a team. The people are a great bunch of people.the most challenging thing is to try and keep your target on really bad days and trying to self motivate my self when things seem to not go my way. A topical work day is stressful but fun.

Pros: Don't work on weekends
Cons: Money is too less

Excellent learning curve

Although I have been working in a research company for more than 10 years and have learned a lot in the industry especially on how to deal with customers over the phone, company policy and procedures, following company standard interviewing rule and phone attiquet, it has been most helpful in my career. I have learned to be patient, loyal and alert not been drawn in being biased, more over to be amperthatic and capturing queries and complaints down accurately and make sure all relevant customer details as well. Make sure what is required is accurately iscwhatvthe client truly needs from their customers as it is the core of our business to provide.

Pros: Great telephone and interviewing skills
Cons: No growth

Further education and training, studying long distance learning at my own pace

I would like to make use of the above mentioned position and apply for the opportunity since it's relevant to my abilities. I’ve matriculated in 1997 on commercial subjects and other technical subjects. I have learnt a lot in Microsoft Office and I became a certified Microsoft Office Specialist and possess the different certificates, specialising in a different Microsoft Office applications. I have achieved knowledge on a number of computer qualifications, awarded with certificates and diploma in software applications. I also did courses that are related to computer systems; in 1998, I did a diploma in Computer Studies (full-time), in 2010 I’ve upgraded my computer knowledge on International Computer Driving Licence (ICDL), on a part-time basis. In 2013, I did a Software applications diploma (part-time). The irony of my application is that, recently I've completed N4-N6. Theory classes for Public Management and seeking for such practical job to be able to achieve a National Diploma.

Pros: Job orientation
Cons: Overtime
