Excellent learning opportunity

My days are very busy and I really enjoy that. It keeps me on my toes. I have an excellent interaction with colleagues and they also challenge my mind and this is good as it shows that I work with people who think alot and assist me in growing at what I do I have learnt quite lot since I have started working here 6 years ago. I have grown within the company and this keeps me motivated as I can see that my hard work is being appreciated. I have learnt to be able to handle pressure very well and to prioritize

Excellent learning curve

I have grown with the company since I started working here six years ago. I have learnt to work under pressure and handle stress quite well. My easy going nature has allowed me the insight to be able to communicate effectively with any individual at any level. I am deadline line driven and this I have learnt because I have deadlines to meet on a daily basis especially at close of month end

Excellent Learning Curve

I started my Accountant career at my current company and I have learnt so much in the years that I have been working there. I have grown so much within the company with promotions to prove my growth. I have held three positions within the company and all have been in finance. I am very analytical, accurate and all this I have learnt in my current position. I work very well under pressure as there's always something coming up while you are busy with another task. I prioritize in order to be able to do accurate work and reach my deadlines. My easy going nature has allowed me to interact with different individuals and work very well with different people. My work can be very challenging at times especially at times when we work late and have very tight deadlines. I have learnt to work extremely well under pressure

Excellent learning curve

I have grown with the company having been there for a few years. I have learnt to manage stress and work very well under pressure as my job has alot of pressure. I work very well with people and have learnt to communicate effectively with any individual on different levels.

IT Manager (currently BI) who loves new challenges and solving complex problems. Excels at using technology to support and execute on business strategies. Expert in architecture, design, IT strategy formulation, and driving results Started the BI capability at Internet Solutions from new, including the BI architecture, the BI engagement model, technology choices, people and skills development, measurement and benefit realisation, centre of excellence development including decentralised skills transfers and advance analytics. Currently managing and improving the BI team in order to support business strategy as well as managing the IT Planning function including the Enterprise Architecture function. Love starting up new capabilities or realigning existing capabilities to support strategic transformation. BCom IS (Hon), busy with MSc Engineering (Software) .

From experience gained in large corporate

I am always eager to learn new things and a fast learner, get alone easily with people/in a team and able to work alone with little supervision. I'm a hard worker, always willing to go beyond what is expected of me and very punctual. I value the exposure and experience gained from being a intern and was entrusted with many responsibilities where I too was taken as permantant staff from Mweb, Internet Solutions and now known as Ignite. I've too worked in a smaller company in Pretoria and glad that I have worked for both. Given this opportunity would be very much appreciated and would love to relocate to Cape Town as I am there more often than not for both leasure and work. Thank you Regards Lutho Gadu

Cons: Long working hours, no structure, little care was given but a lot was expected. The atmosphere was no longer healthy

Excellent learning experience

My typical day in the office would be having a quick coffee meeting with the team regarding the tests of the previous day on Quality of work and service to the clients ,to get the team in a positive mindset ,to want to make a difference ,so that engagement helped to find out what works for the team ,what we can change to better service our clients .from that point forth , i sit in meetings with client manager to get feedback from them on the gap between the engineers and the service promised to the client .further more do reporting . I learnt with this role its important to find a balance between client and the people ,that in as much as you want to ensure quality ,the people need to feel appreciated as well ,and that is why we had an incentive in place to reward them and command them every time we one going an extra mile . I enjoyed more than anything is working with a diverse group of people ,learnt how to engage with them and understand better different race and culture of people.

Pros: Great Opportunities to learn more from other departments which makes more room for growth
Cons: not enough working hours in a day
