Great company

It's a great company but with no development unless you are somebody favorite it's paying according to different categories. There's safety and production bonus for employees who worked safely and have reached their target

Dealing with different people and culture and dealing with their problems

WORKING WITH DIFFERENT PEOPLE ON DAILY BASIS AND PROBLEM SOLVING,NOT AFRAID OF CHALLENGES,LIKE GOING EXTRA MILES ON MY JOB,WHEN GOING FOR AUDITING DISCUSS SAFETY RELATED ISSUES WITH PEOPLE UNDERGROUND,MAKE FOLLOW UPS ON DEVIATIONS COACH PEOPLE UNDERGROUND.

Pros: CARING AND GIVING EMPLOYEES OPPORTUNITY OF LEARNING,SEND THEM FOR DEVELOPMENT,
Cons: caring and respecting employees,not promising empty promises,caring about its people even outsides,caring about their safety,salaries,life generally.

Hard working senior mine surveyor

As a senior mine surveyor my daily work is minimum of three working ends daily doing 12 pegs and grades,doing monthly measurements and printing G sheets plans and also updating the layouts according to the impala standards as required by DMR for mine surveying,and check surveys.with the amount of work i'm doing for the company i ended up being the best surveyor for year 2016/2017.

Pros: learning new things everyday, supervisory and promotions
Cons: short staffed and have to put more hours - long hours and work over weekend

It’s a challenging environment as it is fast paced

Mining is fast and you have to constantly know what’s happening around you. It’s also important to do your own research as you are expected to know most things

Excellent learning curve

I was working underground and surface at the same time,me and my colleagues we were friendly helping each other.team spirit was the best thing we had since I started working at Impala

Great Opportunity

It is a great opportunity to work there. I learn everyday because of the complex ground conditions we are exposed to daily.The current mining generation where I work are young people who will give challenges daily,and I enjoy it a lot

Learning curve

It Is a wonderful company to work with but there is no development with limited positions and inequality amongs employees you only make it for you know someone at the top
